Pros: Very solid construction and high-quality materials. Cherry MX Blue key switches. Adjustable back-lighting.
Cons: About the only con from my perspective, and the only reason I didn't give it a 5, is the two-fingered approach to the media keys. Not sure how it could have been done differently on this layout.
Overall Review: I am completely happy with this keyboard and the feel of the Cherry MX Blue switches. I've always thought Rosewill made pretty good products, but never thought of them as a high-end manufacturer. They've changed my perception with this product.
Stay away from this model
Pros: Inexpensive, widescreen, nice interface, bright display.
Cons: Erratic behavior, resets, shutdowns, spurious recalcs, this model is a dog, which is actually unkind to dogs.
Overall Review: I've owned mine for two years. Received as gift, not purchased from Newegg. The main problem with the unit is that it gets itself into a state where it won't operate for long without shutting off. It's a software problem that can sometimes be temporarily cured by a firmware update, but then resurfaces a few months later. In addition the USB drivers have reliability problems on Windows 7, the accuracy is suspect, it fires off recalcs sometimes for no reason, and has a few quality issues in the map data. All in all not Garmin's finest effort, and if you look around the web you can see my experience isn't uncommon. Choose another model.
Works with my G500
Pros: Price, small form factor, quality cables, solid construction, works with Logitech high speed USB mouse.
Cons: Small form factor + cable spider layout means its hard to find a good spot for it.
Overall Review: I've tried a few of the consumer level KVMs and been disappointed in that they either didn't work with my Logitech G500, or caused issues with lag or accuracy. This unit worked from the first plug-in, and I haven't been able to detect any difference in the performance of the mouse. I'm using it with to share keyboard and mouse between a windows box and a linux machine, and so far it has worked flawlessly.
Pros: Great wireless coverage, no disconnects, well-designed user interface. Just does what it is supposed to do.
Cons: None so far.
Overall Review: I bought this unit to replace a six year-old Dlink DIR-655 that I had been very happy with, but which had been increasingly suffering disconnects and drop-outs in wireless service. This Asus unit was recommended by a friend and so far has met every expectation. It's not an inexpensive model, compared to other mainstream SOHO routers, but its worth the extra cost for Asus quality and solid performance.
Runs Quiet and Cool, Handles Everything I've Run on It
Pros: I've been running this card for a little over a week, and I'm pretty impressed. It chews up Far Cry 3 on ultra settings with everything but MSAA, and has performed very well in Planetside II, Train Simulator, and other games I've run on it. Best of all, it's quiet and cool. The reduction in noise over the GTX 560ti that it replaced is very significant, and there is much less heat coming out of the blowhole fan when playing games or watching videos. The Kepler architecture is a big improvement over Fermi in that regard. One PCIe power connector instead of two is another advantage.
Cons: The only real con is that this is a large card. It's taller, and longer, than the 560ti it replaced. If you have vertical SATA connectors it could be a problem. I had to juggle some cabling and move a hard disk to get it in the case. Worth it, though.
Overall Review: This is a great card for the money.
Logitech Support Rocks
Pros: Solid construction, precision sensor, adjustable weighting, great ergonomics, cloth-wrapped cord.
Cons: They don't last forever.
Overall Review: I purchased my G500 about 18 months ago to replace a loyal and hardworking G5 whose middle scroll wheel had finally died. About a week ago I started having problems with the right button, which would register multiple up/down events when pressed, translating into multiple clicks. I called Logitech support and spoke to Marvin. He confirmed my original order with Newegg while I waited, and shipped me a replacement, no questions asked. Took a total of perhaps five minutes.
