Pros: She's faaaaaaassssstt. Very fast. Uses same mounting for coolers as LGA1151 so I didn't have to buy a new water cooler which is a plus. I would not recommend air cooling this unless you have a great case for air cooling and a good air cooler.
Cons: Pricey but..
Overall Review: Ignore the people telling you to get the new Ryzen. Intel still outshines AMD in gaming performance, although it is much closer. PCI-e 4.0 is estimated to be a 1% performance difference. Whereas I think it's stupid that Intel didn't include that in these processors, it doesn't even matter in the real world. Stick with Intel.
Pros: Ran WoW and Rocket League like a champ, obviously.
Cons: Loaded up the new Flight Sim and it almost caught on fire and shut my PC off. Same thing happens with Warzone. Had to return it.
Overall Review: Got a dud. Maybe next time.
Pros: Wow, even the packaging is amazing. I'll be honest, I never considered buying a Razer mouse, but the blue LED fit my setup so I gave it a shot. I'm not much of an ergonomic mouse kinda guy, so this is absolutely perfect. On the fly DPI adjustment, no software needed. Razer did this one right. I was a little scared to buy the cheapest mouse they offer, but it's WELL worth the money.
Overall Review: Hope to have this one for awhile.
Pros: First of all, I had the Sapphire version.
When the card worked, it worked GREAT. It was my first high end video card and I was extremely happy. Playing most games at 1920x1080 in full HD and Crysis at 1440x900 on High-ISH settings. Not a card flaw, my CPU just bottlenecks my machine.
Cons: Gets VERY hot. Not quite as hot as the new Fermi cards, but still hot.
Not sure exactly what happened to my card, but I read it at 76 degrees celsius when it was shutting off my computer. I decided to go ahead and send it back. Newegg was not able to send me another card, due to supply problems. However, they were able to process me a FULL REFUND of the original purchase price which took a little over a week to complete. Thanks Newegg!
Overall Review: It's a nice card, but not sure if it can take the heat. Granted, my case (XClio WindTunnel) has very good air cooling... it just didn't appear to be enough... or I just had a faulty card.
For the price, it was awesome. I was happy with it.
Pros: I have an Xclio Windtunnel case with a bunch of blue lights and I decided to add this one to my collection. The sound activation is great.
Cons: Well..it WAS great. It quit working entirely after the first song I played to test it. Not sure what happened. On any sensitivity, I had no blinking..not even if I clapped my hands right beside it. Newegg is sending me a replacement free of charge, which is great!
Overall Review: Best phone support I've ever had to use. Less than 10 minutes including wait times and I have a replacement on the way at no cost to me. Thanks a lot, Newegg!
Pros: Bought and installed for my uncle. I've been a Linksys man ever since I bought my first router, but this compares. Worked perfect right out of the box. Didn't need any security. I just connected the cables, turned it on and voila!
Cons: Not wireless-n, but not a con.
Overall Review: none
Nice alternative to the 790 chipset boards. Cheaper too.. especially for those of us who don't care to have the latest and greatest.
ACC support, unlock your cores!
Overall Review: I needed a board with onboard video that could handle the sims 3..and it does it pretty well. Not at high resolutions, of course. Kinda slow..but considering it's running with an Athlon 64 x2 3800 and an old 200gb WD HDD..which I think has some problems.. it runs pretty decent.
Pros: Great design. There's a reason why Cooler Master is a well-respected company. I had absolutely no doubts in buying this case, especially for the price. Awesome for those of you who want to add custom colors and lights to your case without having built-in fans that already have LED's. I put a few purple fans and some purple cathodes in this case for my girlfriend and it looks awesome.
Cons: It feels kinda cheap..be careful with the panels, it's really thin aluminum. I expected it though, for $30.
Overall Review: High-gloss front bezel looks nice.. adds a wow factor.
Pros: Not the purple I was looking for..more of a brightness factor rather than color.. but still cool. Can't beat the price.
Cons: I somehow misplaced the inverter and started cursing to myself that Logisys never sent me an inverter..then I found it. So no cons, haha.
Overall Review: Works as designed.
Cons: none until it fails.
Overall Review: none.
Pros: This thing is insane. Break out the graphic EQ on Windows Media Player and let the bass do it's work. This thing is totally ridiculous for music playback and I don't even have it paired with the XFI Titanium sound card. Leather head strap across the top.. sleek black and red finish. Looks like a signature edition some big time producer would have. Even the packaging looks cool.
Buy it if you listen to music. Be prepared.
Cons: Mic quality is 100% perfect. It's kind of a pain in the rear to figure out how to position it on your head, but once you get it, not a problem because it bends into shape.
Overall Review: 24k gold connections..they really went overboard with this one. I got it for $50 during 24 hour sale and I would definitely buy another one if I had a use for it.
Pros: Wonderful wonderful monitor. VGA/DVI/HDMI, perfect for everyone. 2ms response doesn't get any better. This monitor is just all around awesome. Careful not to stare at it too long..I've lost a few hours of my day playing games for what seemed like 5 minutes. This is exactly what you want. I have it paired with a Sapphire Radeon 4890 through HDMI and it is just flat out insane. If you're a gamer and you have HDMI as an option, BUY THIS.
I've even hooked this up to my cable box..doubles as a TV and has built-in speakers. Although I can't find a volume option, the original setting is perfect. Maybe I just haven't looked well enough.
Cons: What cons?
Overall Review: Never had an ASUS anything..but I'll always buy my monitors from ASUS. Would give it 6 eggs if possible. For those of you with the 1 inch problem around your screen on HDMI..please understand technical terminology before you insult a product.
ATI users: Download Catalyst Control Center and look for the DPI scaling option. You can get rid of that 1 inch problem with the click of a mouse button. Although, I think the 1 inch around it actually looks kinda cool. It seems to be scaled a lot better that way.
NVIDIA users: Probably the same concept with the NVIDIA Control Panel. I just don't know the actual setting name.
Pros: Bass is ridiculous. Mic quality is GREAT! I've never heard a better pair of headphones.
Overall Review: Got em $50 off 24 hour sale. Glad I decided to get these.. can't go wrong.
Pros: Bought for my gaming PC build. Worked straight out of the box.. looks cool too. Bought on black friday for $69.99.
Cons: One or both sticks are bad. My motherboard LED debug tells me memory error every once in awhile and the system won't boot. Also get some big time lag playing games. I know it's a memory problem. It usually fixes after a reboot..but still. Need to RMA these sticks.. or get ahold of newegg for an exchange. Sucks though, I'll be without RAM while I wait on shipping.. hope it's quick. G-Skill is a and should be a trusted brand..everything is DOA sometimes..and it's backed with a lifetime warranty which is awesome. Thanks G-Skill.
Overall Review: Xclio Windtunnel
AMD Phenom II X3 710 2.6GHz (OC'd to 3.2GHz)
Raidmax 700W PSU
4GB G-Skill Ripjaw Series DDR3 1333
Sapphire Radeon 4890 1GB 256-bit
500GB Seagate Barracuda 32MB Cache ( Also DOA =[ )
Pros: Lots of connectors for all of your needs. Dual 4 pin MB connector for 4-8 pin. PCI-E connectors, LOTS of IDE, plenty of SATA. Blue LED, matches my case. =]
Cons: Only thing 24 pin power connector is shielded with the black wire. I wish the entire thing was like that..but for $40, you can't beat it! 700W of power is crazy for the price.
Pros: This thing is fast! OC'd the day I got it from 2.6 to 3.2 very easily, no temp increase. Able to unlock 4th core to make it a quad. Lots of things to look forward to. FASTFASTFAST and cool!
Cons: Stock AMD fan kinda sucks.
Pros: Lots of goodies on this baby. Perfect board..lots of connectors for fans and such. 6 SATA port..cool design, plugs into board sideways to minimize cable bulkage. Ability to unlock 4th core on triple core phenom processors.
Cons: HD audio plug is kinda far away from front panel connector. My case is huge, though. In a mid-atx case, it might not be a problem, but it stretches across expansion slots to fit in the connector.
Pros: LED matches my tower's LED's (Xclio WindTunnel).
Cons: Screws supplied wouldn't fit in my case.. might just be a case flaw.
Pros: This case is HUGE! Lots of room for everything. 5.25" and 3.5" rails for easy install, no screws. HDD rails as well, no screws. Great look with the blue LED's. Side control for fan speed and lights. Everything you can ask for. Just make sure you have room for it. It's REALLY big.
Cons: My floppy drive won't lock into place with the rails..but as long as I don't tilt my tower downwards, it's not a problem.
Overall Review: Definitely buy this case. Lots of room for everything and plenty of fans. Looks like a freaking jet engine from the side view.
