Pros: Small and easy to install
Cons: The operating temps were higher than I expected. With this being my first liquid cooled setup I was hoping for low 40's at idle. I'm getting mid 50's at idle and high 60's under load.
Still better then an air cooled cpu though.
Mobo/cpu = GIGABYTE G1 Gaming GA-Z170X-Gaming 7 / Intel Core i7-6700K 8M Skylake Quad-Core 4.0 GHz
Case = Cooler Master HAF 92
Pros: They look great, are pretty darn fast, and handle minor over clocking pretty well.
Pros: I really like the way this board looks in my HAF 92 black case. It's a big board with plenty of room for goodies. Simple overclocking options.
Cons: Not sure it's a con because I haven't ran dual graphics cards, but looking at where the slots are I don't think there's enough room for good airflow. Again I don't have a second card yet, and if/when I get one I'll update this review.
Overall Review: This was a giant leap up for me and my old graphics card so I'm impressed by it's performance. Might even get a second one :D
Pros: Huge! This case holds everything with plenty of room for airflow. Cable management is very easy. Looks good too!
Cons: The front intake fan squeals from time to time upon start up. It lasts about 30 seconds then goes away. For me it's not a big deal, but thought I'd mention it in case others run into the same issue.
Pros: The picture is the biggest pro, beautiful colors and contrast. Easy to set up. I also like the size, it fits my computer area quite nicely.
Pros: Decent price for an all in one with duplex printing.
Cons: Start up/power on is quite noisy but after it boots up it's pretty quiet.
Overall Review: Wish it could print in color.
Pros: Easy to set up, just plug it in and go.
Cons: The microphone boom is a little too short. I prefer that the mic be closer to the front of my mouth, this one sits in the middle of my cheek. Really cheap cord, I removed the clip to reposition it and wound up exposing the wires due to the cheapness of the cord. Luckily with a little electrical tape I was able to fix it up.
Overall Review: Wasn't expecting perfection for the price. I suppose it will be a good temporary/backup headset.
Pros: Absolutely huge case. My poor mini atx board looks pathetic inside :D Plenty of options for routing your cables. The fans are quiet, the case is 17 inches from my head (I put it on top of the desk because it wouldn't fit under) and I barely notice them.
I love the fact that this case isn't a plastic poc ... even the grills for the fans are metal :)
Installing dvd/cd/bluray drives is so simple.
Airflow throughout the case is pretty good. I think it could be improved slightly but I'm not a case designer so I could be wrong.
Cons: I do not like the mechanical slider to open and close the vents up top, but I don't feel it's a good enough reason to deduct an egg, half an egg sure, but not a full egg.
Pros: Worked right out of the box. I really do like being able to turn off the led light at night if I leave the computer on all night for whatever reason. The light up modules are pretty cool too. Has more then enough power for my needs and leaves me enough room to add a second card without worrying about abusing the psu :)
Cons: I would really like to see the cables be an inch or two longer to alleviate some tension in full sized towers (at least in mine [Rosewill THOR V2-White Edition] they're a little shorter than I'd like).
Overall Review: Semi modular, but not that big of a deal to me. I had problems aligning the thumbscrews with my case (Rosewill THOR V2-White Edition), but I think it's more of a case design issue.
Pros: For the price it's a decent computer (6G of RAM :) ). My first AMD chip and I'm not disappointed. Very quite out of the box. The power supply is more than enough for the video card (nice surprise).
The perforated (holes) side provides a handy mount for additional fans (although I can only get 2 of the 4 screws lined up).
Cons: My video card runs hot. Internet searching turns up many cases of this particular card running hot. Installed an additional 120mm fan on the side case to help cool it down. Also installed MSI afterburner to adjust the gpu fan (speed fan couldn't find it). Card still runs a little on the hot side, but not as bad as it did.
The power button placement is absurd and quite sensitive. The upper ports/jacks (usb, mic, headphones) are worthless if you don't have the clearance for them.
No front jacks or ports.
Opening the dvd drive is a bit unorthodox. There is no "button" to push, instead you have to press the slide switch down. Gets a little annoying if you have to swap out discs frequently.
Overall Review: I've had this computer for 4 months now. It runs the older games I play (BF2 Civ 4 UT2004 Rappelz StarCraft (1) ) quite well. Don't have any of the newer games to try out (yet).
The storage area up top doesn't need to be there. In lieu of the storage space, they should have put exhaust fans, or the mounting to place one or two.
I'd give this machine 3.5 stars, but can't so I went with 4.
