awsome
Pros: still working 6 YEARS later, still quiet all 4 led's still work you cant get better than that
Cons: NONE
meh
Pros: Its cheap. easy 2 install.
Cons: doesn't light up anything UV past 2 inches away. the cathode is not bright enough at all.
2,012 Mhz stock core clock.
Pros: -2,012 stock core clock with the the MSI gaming app set 2 OC -1,987mhz in gaming mode -Max load temps-31C 18C ambient. -13C above room temp -Cheaper that getting a 1080 and buying a block and backplate. -Block is very nice looking -Cools VRMs unlike the swifttech blocks. -Block does not block the back screws for the rear IO -3 display mprts -DVI-D -HDMI idk what version -Factory warranty -90% faster than my 1080 GAINS in DX12! unlike the 900 series.
Cons: - I know for a fact. that they used too much thermal paste. my EVGA 780ti hydro copper (custom paste application) ran at exactly 33C while using 100 more watts than a 1080 but removing the block voids the warranty. i could probably drop the temps 5C or more by reapplying paste. whatever, not a huge deal plastic threads aren't good, but the piece can be removed and replaced if you ruin the threads. GTX 1080 frame lantiancy is kinda bad right now. even after the driver fix, it's still has twice the lanciancy of my 780ti; doesn't feel as smooth as my 780ti, despite it being 90% faster. I hope new drivers fix this. not sure if it supports Async seems like nvidia has partial support for dx12 though
Overall Review: -card will downclock to 2,000 mhz or 1987 when running over 40C and will drop even more when above 50C GPU boost 3.0 is very complicated this 1080 has a weirdly high idle temp of 28C considering the max is 31C under load. my waterblocked 780ti idled at room temp
good
Pros: High quality. Feels heavy and built nice no flimsy plastic, all metal. lighting is nice
Cons: SOFTWARE! Corsair has HORRID software! it's hard 2 use and crashes all the time. sniper button is 2 close for my big hands. I don't use it at all.
Overall Review: The software made me take an egg off. IMPORTANT! Set up lighting and profiles, save to device memory. and DELETE the software. this will keep your mouse from crashing.
GOOD!
Pros: This card is impressive as ****. Runs 70C stock at max load, at like 35db. Runs 1090mhz boost all the time. with a custom fan profile, it runs 60C at 70% fan speeds and I can't even hear it while gaming. It's not as fast as my 780ti hydro-copper, but still very fast for $430.
Cons: Card is very wide. It's hard to get screws in the back expansion slots. The rebate is a bitc**and 1/2 to get. It's OC head room wasn't very good compared to my hydro. I was only able to hit 1250mhz on stock voltage.
Overall Review: I will eventually water-block it, but it's fine for now.
BAD
Pros: The fan moves a LOT of air! Good rubber grommets on 4 corners. DON'T use as top mounted exhaust fans.
Cons: You can't use them as exhaust fans on a top mounted radiator!!!!!!!!!!!!! They make a HORRIBLE noise when upside down. I can hear that **** from 4 doors down!
Overall Review: It work work when mounted vertically.
