Pros: None worth writing about.
Cons: Doesn't boost anything at all.
Overall Review: Don't bother.
Pros: This unit is absolutely the best capture device I've used thus far while posting video game tutorials, my only regret is not making the purchase sooner as now all of my old vids are junk. The compact design allows placement almost anywhere, the look is very cool yet not unclassy, and the capture quality is fantastic.
Cons: Despite claims by the company, there is a noticeable delay in the recording; with that said, it does not affect the quality of the recording. The software that comes with it is absolutely junk and Studio is not compatable. You can only record in avi. format or you'll get horizontal lines and other interferrence throughout your video in Mpeg or otherwise. Also, the cables included are useless, but I already had the component cables for my system prior to the purchase and have just used them instead.
Overall Review: All around great product, but be sure to put enough money aside to purchase a high quality editing software. I am experiencing some ghosting and trailing in my videos, but as of right now I'm attributing that to the software as there are other problems caused by it as well. I'll update the review after my purchase.
Pros: Super fast and functional when it works. Great feature with the USB HDDs and print sharing makes life nice and easy. Wireless and wired connections both hold heavy loads to the max of the modem's output at virtually all times.
Cons: Unreliable. Lost 5ghz frequency in less than a day and wouldn't broadcast it at all no matter how many times I reset to factory and uninstalled/reinstalled firmware updates. Indicator lights are always on and steady making it impossible to know if there is actual connectivity vs. just having the wire connected. It's also supposed to change color depending on frequency and bandwidth of unit connected but it doesn't.
Overall Review: Netgear customer service is all but useless. They can't find an English-speaking tech for the life of them and it took 3 days of calling and diagnostics before they finally told me there was nothing they could do but issue an RMA, since Newegg is always much better with customer service, I opted to return to them. The problem being now I've been without a router for over a week and it still hasn't gotten all the way to CA so that I can finally get a new one... that in and of itself is very frustrating. Overall, I'm not a happy customer at the moment, but I'm willing to give NewEgg the benefit of the doubt given the service I've gotten in the past. Might have been 4+ stars without all the trouble.
Pros: Fantastic comfort and sturdiness. The mouse is very accurate when using my CAD program. The programmable function keys are a wonderful treat, and the keyboard is super quiet.
Cons: It'd be nice if the "forward" mouse button were a little further up on the body of the mouse. The range isn't great, but it's better than my last setup.
Overall Review: Good product, great for the price.
Pros: Decent board, good cooling.
Cons: Really large. If my tower wasn't a monster I don't think it'd have fit. Everytime I manually overclock I get the blue screen of death.
Overall Review: It's fine for now, but I won't buy it again, probably won't buy another Biostar board again...
Pros: Great power supply. Great heat dissipation, tons of cables. Everything you'd need to build a supercomputer.
Cons: DOA on arrival, not worth sending back. I decided hitting hit with a hammer was more useful.
Pros: It turns out to be everything it said it was. In my Biostar nForce 750a motherboard, everything works great. The computer runs super fast and I'm exploring the idea of buying another set.
Cons: None so far, any errors have come from the motherboard, not the memory.
Overall Review: After this build, I was purely amazed by the speed. I've never seen anything run like this computer.
Pros: Large! You can fit anything in here and more. The cooling is unbelievable. With my computer overclocked to 3.1 I'm never getting above 33 deg. C. Just plain awesome.
Cons: Very delicate front cover. Not so much the door as the entire cover. Every time I try to move the thing, the over comes off.
Overall Review: Chances are I'll never use this tower to it's full capacity, but for the ultimate techy, it would be a dream. Able to hold 6 3.5" drives, and as many CD/DVD drives as you could want. Along with the capability to house a massive power supply.
Pros: The battery life is improved by at least double over the original. The added bulk lifts the keyboard for a better angle and also helps with cooling. Charging doesn't take any longer than the original 6cell.
Overall Review: It's a fantastic buy for the Presario V2000. However, only buy the HP battery. DO NOT buy any aftermarket piece of junk, they don't last any longer than the 6-cell.
