Pros: Working as they should. Work as good as factory. They may even have more ink in them. Some Cos are famous for giving you a small amount of ink, or a starter ink set. It runs out very quickly. Bad business!
Cons: None yet. Got 3 sets for about the same price of one when on closeout recently.
Overall Review: Some imported things are junk. You need to be careful. Try something, then buy more if it's worth it. If junk, then vote with your pocket.
Pros: Runs cooler in my security system than my old WD drive. Installed, formatted right away, went right back to recording. I will not be able to give an honest review on storage quality for a couple of months. I will return.
Same price as my old WD 250gb drive. +++
It's now 8/15/16 and the drive is still performing flawlessly. Storage quality is very good. I do understand they have issues with some of the other size drives. The 1TB seems to be the sweet spot.
Added 8/15/2016: It's now been a while. Drive is still working flawlessly. Storage quality is good. I do see they have issues with drives that are not the 1TB size. Too bad. The 1GB seems to be the best.
Cons: None yet. Will return to do a full review in a couple of months.
Overall Review: I would buy another. I would recommend one. I'm not paid anything in any form to give this review.
The internet is full of fake reviews from paid writers that probably never even used the product. They also have reviews to slam products of competitors. I know, it's slimy.
As always, Love my Newegg.com people. You're the best around. Period.
Pros: If your ears should make you believe it was working, you would have none. The air moves and I hear almost nothing. Not hype, just the facts.
Cons: I wish the industry was selling fans like this instead of the junk sleeve's for years. I can make a sleeve bearing fan last for a long time. I just remove the button under the label and insert some synthetic grease. I'm glad some are waking up that cheap junk is not good for everyone. It's only good for the sellers of cheap junk. It breaks, then they sell you another one. Good for who?
Overall Review: I will use this for a replacement power supply fan in the future. Trust that Newegg.com is the ultimate source for your needs. You even get to speak with a person when you have a problem. I recently wasted 45 mins on a computer speaking call center that could have been resolved in 2 mins with a person. We're all tired of you ramming this technology down our throats. At least what we don't want.
Pros: When I fist connected it I didn't really believe that it was on. I saw the blades turning and almost no sound. They've finally made a real quiet power supply.
I'm as happy as a pig in a trash dump. This is not a full modular. Fine with me. The cables reach everything with some spare. Want a build tip? With a bottom mounted supply turn it with the fan up. This makes it even more quiet and aids in pulling air through your system.
Cons: Can' think of a thing. I wish I could get another even cheaper? I wish they would send me one of the new nano fans for my current nex750b supply.
Overall Review: My current unit is their nex750b. It's virtually the same thing. That one has an issue with the fan. It makes this faint sound like some elf inside it rubbing sand paper. Most of the time I don't notice it.
I don't buy anything that's endorsed. I don't believe in paying 4 times for something because a spoiled sports figure wants a billion dollar payday. I don't buy $200.00 shoes with somebody that could care less about me and my family, when they would cost $50.00 without their name on it. I don't believe in being anybody's billboard. If you want me to walk around with your name on my back, pay me $1,000,000!
I never endorsed anything. I give fair and just reviews.
I am endorsing this power supply! Buy it and be happy like me!
Pros: The picture quality is as good as I've seen for a 60hz refresh rate TV. It's not amazing, it's just what you'll get for that range. It's no different than 2 other re-branded Insignia TVs that I own. I think Insignia is a re-badged Samsung anyway. Plenty of various connections.
Movie quality on a DVD is good. But again, it's not as good as a 120hz refresh. I knew this coming into this and accept it.
Cons: None yet. See if it lasts. First one i've seen with a power converter on the outside of the unit. The box is on the power cable. It kicks it down to 19 volts.
Overall Review: Got this for my guest room. I did see some artifacts when on SD signals. I think it's the signal being sent from my provider. I will make them come out and check their equipment. Everything is on HDMI connections.
Pros: The best Pros is that I can't think of any Cons. Been using Ceramique for years. Never needed anything else. Great temps. Ease of use. This is the same price as a 2.5g tube. I think I just got my last tube ever.
Cons: Every year I get older.
Overall Review: Without Newegg.com I would only use the internet around 5 mins per month.
Pros: What's really good is that this isn't another product that they give away, and then you need to pay more for the ink refills than you paid for the unit. That type of business should be buried and discouraged by everyone.
It prints well. It prints from a phone without a wireless connection.
The Glossy paper does take some time to dry. Careful setting them aside after you print them.
Cons: None yet. I look at everything as if it will last. A bargain that fails in 4 weeks, or 10 weeks, is no bargain. Some seem to want things to fail, and then sell you another one.
Overall Review: It seems that I continue to read what I've called product sabotage. I've read comments that never seem to apply to the same things that I've purchased. I don't commonly write reviews to just see my words and think I'm famous. I write what has happened to me. There are some that pay for fake reviews. Good and bad. I'm starting to think that you have an underground of product sabotage.
It's not social. To me, that's a crime.
Pros: Been testing it on some known values. Used on a suction line and a liquid line to compute superheat. This is very accurate. It read correct on some register outputs also.
I read some others had some off readings. Maybe they got a bad one, or maybe they aren't testing it with accurate tools? I've seen various models priced $30 - $60 range. When this was at $15, I thought it would be no loss if it was inaccurate. I tested it with an accurate needle thermometer and a thermistor. You would call it a meat thermometer.
Winner winner chicken dinner. +++++
Cons: None. With me it's always if it will last. Hope it does.
Overall Review: This is not a toy. Do not point it at eyes of humans or cats, you bozos out there. At least try to pretend you can be an adult for a couple of minutes.
Pros: If you want a good case at a good price, grab one up on today's price drop.
I hope Corsair reads my possible fix for the weak feeling power button in the other thoughts section.
Cons: Feet slide easy. You can stick on rubber pads or replace with rubber. Really not that big of an issue.
Overall Review: I wanted to help Corsair.
I took a longer look at the power button and believe I can solve your problem. I'm a bit of an engineer.
The power button has a left side for reset. It feels good. The power side feels weak. When I wrote my review it felt like a weak spring. Not so.
I think you can help this by putting the post for the momentary switch on the right all the way to the right hand side. Put the light window to the left of the post. You're just flipping the switch around. This should firm things up. All you need then, is to make a new plastic toggle for the front panel. Good luck. I'm still keeping it.
Pros: Very quiet and moving good volume of air. Attractive fans.
Yes, I just purchased 2 more for a new build. I feel like I got 2 fans for free compared to other brands.
Cons: None yet.
Overall Review: The only concern is a sleeve bearing. Normally you can remove the sticker on the back and pop out the small button. Then you can oil it to keep it alive longer. I usually added synthetic oil to keep them alive for years. I hope they used good oil.
Pros: I was like another reviewer when I ordered this. I was nicely surprised about the thickness of the steel. If you attach this to your frame inside the wall, I would think it could hold more than it's rated for. The tilt and pan is firm and doesn't wobble. It stays where you adjust it. Great value.
Cons: As always. Can't tell if it will be as good a few years from now. Seems that it should.
Overall Review: Buy it from Newegg.
Pros: These are very nice looking fans. The wire loom is an attractive woven mesh. The length of the cable looks like it will reach everywhere inside of a full ATX tower.
Feels though they're moving a good bit of air. The price is very good compared to others that seem the same quality.
Cons: Can't think of any right now accept if they'll last. Initial belief is that I'm thinking about getting a couple more.
Overall Review: I think they're going to work well. Buy some and buy them from Newegg.
Pros: This card is a beast. My old GTX 760 did 14060 on 3dmark 11 fully overclocked. This GTX 970 just did 20560 with no overclocking. The fans never turn on. It did while benching it when it barely got over 60 degrees, which is where they're set to turn on. The addition of the back plate and the Mosfet cooling seems to be a real leap forward in cooling design.
I see no need to overclock it. I'll wait until the warranty period is over before I watercool it to really unlock it's potential. I highly recommend this card!
Cons: I only hope it lasts. If it does, I'll be a happy man.
Overall Review: The 760 had a problem a few months after the warranty period. One day the fan was on full all the time. I saw there was a resistor missing on the back. It dealt with either the fan rpm or temp sensor. I removed the fan (too darn loud) and added a water block to it and see what I could get out of it. It did fine for another year. Last week it failed. I think the GTX 760 was just a bad model.
Dealing with Newegg is a joy. I deal with them the way I want to be treated, and they've always done so. They're my pinnacle in retail stores. As always, love you Newegg.
Pros: Been using it for years. I haven't used some of the newer fancier pastes, though. I haven't found the need to. When something works, you use it. Best paste for your dollar.
Cons: I can't find anything nasty to say about it.
Overall Review: When something isn't broke, you don't need to fix it.
Pros: This does what it's supposed to. Provide multiple plugs from a single outlet. Nothing pretty. Great value.
Cons: It won't track my steps? It won't track my email? Those aren't cons, really.
Overall Review: I read some feedbacks. There's nothing that says this is a surge protector in the ad. Why would it at $5.00? The whiners want gold plated connections, plus an app that they can turn it off from their work? The spoiled kids have much to learn. You're supposed to be working at work, not playing with your apps. As always, love you Newegg.
Pros: Transfer rates are good and close enough to specs. This is my fourth Mushkin over the years. They all still work great.
Cons: If I only purchased my first 4gb model for the price this one is now. The price back then was higher than this one.
Overall Review: If you ever have an issue with a product, just communicate like an adult. Newegg will take good care of you. I have had some small things occur over the years, but the handle it. You 'Milweenials' need to learn how to talk with respect and like an adult. As always, Love you Newegg.
Pros: Purchased the first one around 1 year ago for a 4770k. Worked flawless. Later I had a problem with the RPM sensor not reading correctly on my video card so the fan would always spin at high. Perfect solution was to change it over to water cooling and use a fan with the PWM that would read temps correctly and spin at the correct RPM. Now my video card is ultra quiet and with much better temps. I even came up with a way to attach it to the board without any external bracket such as the Kraken.
Cons: When one comes up some day i'll have to think about it.
Overall Review: At this point I'm just in love with Newegg. I want to give them all a sloppy monkey kiss. Corsair is my choice for cooling and I'm starting to think about their other products.
Pros: Second set of these. I had the older revision and they would not work with these. They need to update the picture to show that these are for the Z97 platform. The older Z77 were 1 rank and 4 banks. These are 2 ranks and 8 banks. I had to sell the other set so I could fill 4 slots with matching sticks. EGGCELLENT! G Skill has earned my business. This doesn't reflect on anybody else. They've just put themselves on top of the list whenever I need to build another system.
Cons: It's winter and It's cold outside? It gets dark too early.
Overall Review: Once you learn how to set up your bios (system agent, remove the bottleneck, so on) and tweak some power settings, you can get a bit more out of them. I'm not going to show you how I did it. You may harm your system if you do it wrong. Different things can occur on a different board.
Pros: When I first turned on the system, after a very easy 5min installation, the fan wasn't spinning. I had my monitoring program up and running and saw that the temps were fine. The pump had a faint gargle sound that soon went away. Must be from a small amount of air that is trapped. The fan began to spin slowly. Almost like a drunk walking. I got into the bios and adjusted the PMW to make the fan spin faster. Now, I still can't hear a thing and the fan rotates at around 6oo rpm. Heat must build before the fan really gets moving. I can hear a roach fart next to this pump. This seems to be a winner.
I never was going to get one until I started reading about manufacturers using better hoses. The old-style cheap hoses were cracking and ruining systems.
Corsair has made me a believing customer.
Cons: If I only had use for 5 more.
Overall Review: If you hear some air in the pump you may try to turn your system sideways (briefly & carefully) so the air can escape the pump. Make sure to mount the radiator with the inlet and outlet hoses on the bottom. This way any air that is in the system will migrate to the top of the rad and never circulate again. It's near impossible to remove all air from any system. This includes autos.
Try your pump on CPU_OPT and use the fan on any other header you want. I'm using SYS_1 which is right next to where I mounted the pump. Try using the PMW setting above the stock .75, and use one around 1.25 to 1.5
Idles at 38c to 44c and maxes in mid 50's with a 4770k at 4.4
Pros: Overall quality is superb. When you first turn it on you may get worried and see some bleeding. Do not worry. Once it's up and running you will see quality that is only available at a much higher price tag. Sharpness is top notch. One trick is to use the menu and set it on game mode. The contrast is much better, but the saturation is too heavy for everyday use. It will look much better if you set saturation at a range of 30 to 40 for a more accurate color level.
Cons: None to speak of. I got the first one and it had an issue with a couple of pixels. Talked to Newegg and they quickly RMA'd it and the replacement is flawless. Anyone who has a problem with the best retailer around just doesn't know that respect is a 2 way street.
Overall Review: Thanks to Newegg and to Asus for this fabulous monitor.
Pros: Everything is smooth sailing. Clockings are very good.
Easy to setup and adjust.
Cons: I asked a question about getting it to see a gtx 760. First uninstall intel hd graphics if you installed it.
Every time i disabled the integrated graphics the card would not work. I could not see anything but black and could never tell if it even booted into windows. I called the GA tech and this is how it worked out.
There is a setting for the initial display. Set it to IGFX and leave the integrated graphics on. Boot in. Go to device manager and the card will appear. Install the driver.
Go back into bios and disable integrated. Save it and go back into windows. Worked great for me.
Thank you GA for a very nice board for the buck. Newegg, always nice dealing with you. This setup just plays with my intensive programs like a toy. My old system would sometimes lag. Extremely happy.
Pros: Not familiar with the uefi bios, but I like some of the new features. Updated to 1.1 from the desktop and it booted itself into bios. I must be having a good year since my 4770k is running at 4.2 at 1.6v all cores fixed. Dram on xmp 1.6v and all on air. Temps are 80f for cpu. Not going to push anything.
Always let things have a break-in period. If, I can come back to update this I will later. Hard for me to rate anything 5 star since longevity is always to be determined.
Note: This is not my first rodeo. Many builds before this.
Cons: None yet. Only the chasis fan can't be seen, but it is spinning. Tried chas 1 & 2, but nothing. It's on a 3 pin with a red and black wire only.
