great card for the money even refurbed

EVGA GeForce GTX 950 02G-P4-2956-RX 2GB SC+ GAMING, Silent Cooling Gaming Graphics Card - Certified Refurbished
EVGA GeForce GTX 950 02G-P4-2956-RX 2GB SC+ GAMING, Silent Cooling Gaming Graphics Card - Certified Refurbished

Pros: - 20 bucks cheaper without rebate than the same model. - ran, it actually worked out of the box - one year warranty from evga - clocks pretty well i got about 80 extra on the offset and stable - temps, 65 is average with the default fan curve , mine about 63 and it is dead silent game list: -tomb raider 2013( ultimate settings) the benchmark gave me a average of 55 fps.(1080p) -league of legends 4k with dsr no issues at all 60fps maxed out( i run all my games at 1440p that arent intense) -csgo 1440p- 100 fps average maxed out -fallout 4 auto set to ultra and it feels smooth.(never watched fps) -just cause 3 ran at medium with geforce experience, not bad considering the game eats up everything(friend has a 980 and can barely run high- max) -all the metros ran auto at max settings -bf4 ultra- smooth cant say fps but smooth - smite 4k dsr maxed out, no issues and scales great unlike other games.

Cons: - the price, sometimes you can find it cheaper but not often -its a 6 pin pci-e card with the ssc logo which is a 8pin pcie card, i feel cheated here but what can i do complain tilli get a ftw version free ? not worth it . the ssc cooler on a sc+ is my only gripe oh and that no leds but geforce still gives the options of leds.

Overall Review: no issues and i plan to sli in a few months to give my self a even better gaming experience. my rig: core i7-2600 n520 cpu cooler rog maximus gene v 8 gbs of ram gtx 950 2 hard drives 700w thermal take psu(complete overkill used it for a 6990 which i upgraded from.) coolermaster n300 case

okay not great

Cooler Master N300 NSE-300-KWN1 Midnight Black Polymer, mesh front bezel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case Compatible with Standard ATX PS2 (not included) Power Supply
Cooler Master N300 NSE-300-KWN1 Midnight Black Polymer, mesh front bezel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case Compatible with Standard ATX PS2 (not included) Power Supply

Pros: - the case looks awesome with 7 total fans supported (21 bucks on a-m-a-z-o-n for a 5 pack of artic and 10 for a fan controller and you are in the game with airflow) - fits tons of hardware -fits my gtx 950 sc+ comfortably .

Cons: - cable management it is pretty much nonexistent. have a power supply that is either modular or semi modular for this case. youll need it to fit everything neatly. - i also could not run my power cable for the cpu easily so i had to run it across my motherboard and plug it in . again the cable management is just atrocious.

Overall Review: - id buy it again in a later revision if they fix the cable management, n600 doesnt count i like curves and mesh put together,

Clean and small

Corsair Carbide Series 100R CC-9011075-WW Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
Corsair Carbide Series 100R CC-9011075-WW Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: nice case with a a good amount of room for expansion im sure i can fit 2 of my single gtx 960 ftw in this case my evo 212 fir weirdly enough clean looks

Cons: only one fan included . come on corsair !! you have some of the best fans on the market throw in 2 af 120 fans (non led) those in the front wouldve been awsome but guess ill have to spend 20 bucks on those to replace the piece of poop stock fan . cable management i had to run my 8 pin cpu power over my gpu.... not the best choice.

Overall Review: good case and awsome support for expansion for the price i paid(49.99 plus 10mir) so 39.99 once i do all of tyhat it fit my 212 evo a little tight but it fit and it works i couldnt be a complainer there

great gpu for the money

Pros: - i piad 154.99 for this card - can max out any game, been loving the overwatch beta even on high setting (it can run ultra see other) - nvidia cards seem to be more compatible for older systems from my experience

Cons: - 8 pin power ? it can be a pain if you have a low watt psu without one the back plate has a sticker? idk i dont have one the card is sexy

Overall Review: - great gpu honestly i have zero coil whine the fan profile never lets it hit 75-80c usually stays at 70c for me fits perfect in my corsair 100r - booted first try on my x38 core 2 extreme machine that i run no problems at all so far my system: qx6850( most likely swap for my q9550 since the chip doesn't seem to overclock with ddr3 well. intel dx38bt motherboard 2x2 gb sticks and a 4gb stick (yes i know it needs to be in quad channel. ) gtx 960 ftw 2gb corsair tx750 psu corair 100r coolermaster hyper 212 evo with 2 af120mm blue led fans windows 10 i do run into a few cpu bottlenecks with newer games and cpu bound settings so i tend to run on high settings so i get tyhe best of both worlds

great cooler upgrade, new egg premier is recommended.

CM Storm SF-17 - Gaming Laptop Cooling Stand with 180 mm Fan and 4 Ergonomic Height Settings
CM Storm SF-17 - Gaming Laptop Cooling Stand with 180 mm Fan and 4 Ergonomic Height Settings

Pros: - works great not much louder than my computer under load combined with thermal paste upgrade it dropped my temps by about 10-15c on average.

Cons: its big like realy big its a half inch on each side bigger than a 15.6 inch i wouldnt move it around much considering its size the build is kind of a cheap abs plastic and rubber the led light is really useless the laptop holder on the bottom of it scratches my wrist with my hp envy 15.6 inch sleekbook.

Overall Review: i would recommend if you can find it on sale. the 15 inch one was unappealing to me as this was 8 bucks more and has a 2cm bigger fan with much higher cfm . 70 cfm max and the fan is farily quiet if you are not moving it and have a fairly decent budget id recommend the sf19. to 13.5cm fans that are up gradable to whatever you desire. i got it in literally 24 hours.... new egg premier is the best rush ordered and shipped within a hour , got to me by fedex the day after i highly recommend it. (i live in ohio your results may vary by shipping location)

still great but not perfect

Thermaltake TR2 Bronze 700W SLI / CrossFire Ready Continuous Power ATX12V v2.31 / EPS v2.92 80 PLUS BRONZE CertifiedActive PFC Power Supply Haswell Ready TR-700
Thermaltake TR2 Bronze 700W SLI / CrossFire Ready Continuous Power ATX12V v2.31 / EPS v2.92 80 PLUS BRONZE CertifiedActive PFC Power Supply Haswell Ready TR-700

Pros: - works after almost a year no issue - ran 2 differnt 6990s (sold for cash and bought cheaper , the gpu cycle), hd 6950, and now a gtx 950 perfect - good reliable power still even with many cases of a breaker popping off and force shut downs happening (not due to the computer or psu a loose wire was found in the breaker box reallllll safe ) - 4x6+2 pin pci-e

Cons: - cpu power cable is short real short. my case does not have cable management holes near the top of the mobo therefore i have to run the cord across and straight to it. it doesn't hurt anything but aesthetics but bothers me a little( wont be a problem with a better cable managed case ) -non sleeved cables..... sorry but the non sleeved cables drive me to the point of wanting to use black tape to fix it .i have a side panel window and it bugs me . since i like seeing my system.

Overall Review: not a bad psu for someone who needs alot of power but def. better options out there. for cheaper
