Extreamly good

ASUS ROG G750 Series G750JM-DS71 Gaming Laptop Intel Core i7 4700HQ (2.40GHz) 12GB Memory 1TB HDD NVIDIA GeForce GTX 860M 17.3" Windows 8.1 64-Bit
ASUS ROG G750 Series G750JM-DS71 Gaming Laptop Intel Core i7 4700HQ (2.40GHz) 12GB Memory 1TB HDD NVIDIA GeForce GTX 860M 17.3" Windows 8.1 64-Bit

Pros: I'll try to show you my point of view in every important aspect for gamer/powerful laptop. 1. Design - looks great, mat outside, brushed around keyboard. Fingerprints everywhere. 2. Display : great, full HD, sharp 3. Keyboard : nice, with light - 3 llevels 4. GTX 860M - great, new, powerful 5. I7 - powerful 6. Network - up to 144 Mbit/s (N) 7. Ram 12 GB - enough Why did I get it : because it's (I think) the only computer on the market, designed around cooling ! This thing stays extremely cool when playing WOT on Ultra settings. It is tough, ROG logo on front has back-light ; looks great at night. Powerful machine need cooling - it was a main factor around graphic adapter. Because of that - this unit is heavy. BUT if you looking for powerful gamer machine - who cares about weight ? 8. Battery : I don't care but expecting no more that 3-4 hours BTW - full GTX power available only with AC adapter plugged in.

Cons: 1. HHD - to slooooooooooooooooow What I did was put SDD 240Gb for system. Computer started flying. Amen. Original 1Tb drive is in as my data partition. What's missing: BR burner - BUT you can get one like LG BT30N for 79 bucks and you're all set.

Overall Review: What would I change : pad position push a little bit to the right - messing up when playing with left hand on keyboard - what I do is simply switching it off. HDD - as I mentioned - add SSD for system ASAP - I bought one same day as this ASUS. Ohhh : don't forget to buy one 16GB flash for Asus backtracker - simply plug it in and system gets brand new withing minutes ! YES minutes ! This is the fastest (with SSD) laptop I ever had BUT I wouldn't say that with no SSD aboard - yes - it is so important.

Pros: Small, quick : 300 mbps, 3 functions ...

Cons: Overheating itself, stop working, network problem when 3 computers connected ... Amen

Overall Review: If you really looking for good network AP - stop saving money. Don't take a shortcut as I did - BTW I didn't expect it is so small. For last month I was blaming AT&T for bad internet = after tests - this unit. I do not recommend.

Amazing

Vupoint PDS-ST420-VP-RB Magic InstaScan Scanner
Vupoint PDS-ST420-VP-RB Magic InstaScan Scanner

Pros: Handy, little, wireless single page scanner. Pulls paper automatically. Powered by 3 AA batteries. Whenever you need a straight scan of your bills, invoices ... Simple on screen display setup (no back light) : Format : JPG/PDF DPI : 300/600/900 Color/Mono MUST have a micro SD card (not included) All scans are saved on micro SD - you can transfer them to your PC over USB cable (included) or by handing SD card over to PC. Fast white balance calibration done (just in case for better black scan or text)

Cons: No cons. Could have BT for file transfer :) Could work as a portable scanner when USB plugged in (controlled by PC) but sorry no - USB cable only for files transfer.

Overall Review: For me - using it in a car is a dream come true. Light, fast scanning, handy ... nothing to add. Hopping for good relationship :)

Blast for cents ...

Silicon Power 128GB up to 75 MB/s MicroSDXC UHS-1 Class10, Elite Flash Memory Card with Adaptor
Silicon Power 128GB up to 75 MB/s MicroSDXC UHS-1 Class10, Elite Flash Memory Card with Adaptor

Pros: I got this unit for few days only ... so far no drama at all. Working with MacBook Air as a external drive :) Formated as ExFat : for compatibility between Win and MacOS / full 128 Gb access Writing speed : 20-25 Mb/S Reading speed : 80-90 Mb/S No data loss after few days. Plays Full HD 1080P 60 FPS easy

Cons: No cons

Overall Review: There is no 128 Gb SD card for that price tag. Would I trust that little fellow and leave important data for months ? I don't think so. I have few branded SD sticks and they lost data after 6-8 months ... But for every day, HD films, GoPro video files backup - definitely.

Works fantastic

Mushkin Enhanced Silverline 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Desktop Memory Model 996770

Pros: Simple, good, stable ... if you know how to built your computer and if you are looking for good, reasonable priced memory - here it is. After 2 years - no issues at all. This is NOT for "tuners" or "overclockers". Works with AMD Vishera 8320 16GB on board 4 x 4

Cons: none

HP X702 128GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive Model P-FD128HP702-GE

Pros: Fast, super fast, superb fast, high capacity

Cons: Looks cheap ... for some people it's an issue. For matters what's under the bonnet

Overall Review: I'm using it mostly for transferring huge HD GoPro videos from one comp to others ... Extremely fast : coping with avg 90-100 Mb/s from my Asus UX31 Zenbook (128 GB SSD) to Asus ROG. Great Flash for fair money. No cons.
