adapter needed w/gigabyte mb
Pros: I installed this on a new build, so I had the mb out to install back bracket. Other than that it took less than 10 min to install. 4 screws for fan and 4 thumb screws for brain/pump. Very compact. Very quiet at idle and low to med demand. When cpu warms up, fan on radiator speeds up. But even then its about the same as a air/heat sink cooler.
Cons: [Reason for only 4 eggs]The only con I have is when used with a gigabyte mother board you need to hook it up to a molx plug. The mb doesn't supply a full 12v at start-up, so brain sounds an alarm and goes into safety mode(max rpm on fan and pump). I had to search CoolIt's FAQ to find this out. I thought was missed up.
Overall Review: It would be nice if CooIt included this in the manual. Also a 4 pin to power supply adapter.
