great value
Pros: Very good-performance, especially when I turned on AHCI support on my SATA 3 mbps. Quiet drive, runs fairly cool, much lighter than older drives. I bought 2 drives, they blow my older caviar blue drives away from a performance standpoint. great deal at $70 each on sale.
Cons: enabling AF mode was a bit of a pain, but a quick Google found me a Microsoft kb article that allowed me to copy my existing win 7 system onto it and make it bootable with a minimum effort.
Overall Review: people who get bent out of shape about AF support should do their homework first before buying.
A great value for the price, but terrible documentation
Pros: - well laid out - plenty of fan connectors - nice looking board
Cons: The documentation is TERRIBLE. A single "quick start" sheet with some drawings on it, but not a single drawing showing all the headers, pinouts, etc on the board. It's a good thing I've been doing this stuff for years or I would have spent a lot of time figuring stuff out. They did have QR codes you can scan to get YouTube videos, but that's a lousy "solution".
Overall Review: So far, this board with a late-model Ryzen 5 processor is REALLY a screamer. Once you get past the installation shortcomings, it's a great board. Would have given 5 eggs if the docs were better.
Great performer, great price
Pros: Easy install, love the 6-core performance for video editing. Overclocks easily with included software. AMD just gets it. Stock CPU cooler is GREAT. I've never seen a temp top 40C, and my older Athlon 64 X2 regularly went into the low 50's. Very quiet fan as well.
Cons: None. I'm not a gamer, so I'm not into ultimate speed freak stuff. This is just a good reliable CPU.
Love this MB
Pros: Very nice placement of components and connectors Good documentation
Cons: Would like more fan connectors for monitoring fans. 2 isn't really enough for a high-performance system.
Great value for a power supply
Pros: I love the modular cabling, keeps the case nice and neat without extra cables bundled up and lying around. The braided cable covers make for easy installs and routing. Plenty of power for my needs. Antec has never failed me yet over many years.
Cons: none
Overall Review: Antec is a brand that I trust implicitly. Maybe not covered in flashy graphics or paint, but they're solid and reliable, and at a great price. And that's really the bottom line.
Great case for my needs
Pros: Love the screw-free disk/cdrom installation. Very easy to remove/install new drives Good room for routing cables behind the chassis for a clean installation. Love the top panel controls. Like the bottom power supply setup.
Cons: The feet are really cheap. But given the fact that I'm mounting this on 4x4's to keep it off the carpet and keep the power supply clean, that's not a big one for me.
Good product, bad communication
Almost no communication by the seller, took a long time to ship.
