Pros: Easy to install and super fast. Be sure to plug into a "blue" USB 3.0 port. Plugged it in and Windows picked it up right away and I was able to connect to my wireless.
The packaging was very nice and the cable is a high quality braided cable.
I like the dock and the extension cable that comes with, makes it very convenient to move or reposition the antenna if needed.
The design is also very nice and cyberpunk-ish.
Cons: The blue LED light is kind of bright and annoying, but easy enough to turn away from my face.
Overall Review: Went from an internal wireless NIC card on my desktop getting around 30-35Mbps to this adapter. I am now getting 100-110Mbps in the same location in the house with the same service provider. Very much worth the money spent. And knowing it is portable I can always undock the adapter and take it with me if I ever need fast internet on the go.
Pros: Good quality and looks nice in the case with the RGB. Dual M.2 slots are nice.
Overall Review: I bought this motherboard about a year ago. No complaints so far. Don't let the size fool you, this motherboard has everything you need and performs just as well as a full sized board. Works great and I love the RGB lights on the board. I built this PC with 16GB of Ram, a Ryzen 5 2600, a wireless card, and a 1660TI GPU.
Am able to play current games at 1080p 60FPS. There is also the option to add more RAM and more hard drive space to this board over time. If you're just building a simple gaming PC with a single graphics card, you don't NEED all that extra motherboard space, save some money. and get this board.
Pros: This processor is very solid. My old processor was an AMD Phenom II X4 970 - this Intel one is much better. Runs cooler, uses less power, and does everything with better performance. Watch dogs defaulted on Mid settings on my old processor, this one defaults to High setting by default. Can max out settings on all other games without any signs of slowing down or overheating.
Cons: Of course World of Tanks becomes a free item AFTER I finally buy this thing.
Overall Review: I bought this processor because I didn't plan on overclocking and the price was right. Stock cooler runs nice and quiet, even when gaming. No complaints here. Very happy with Intel, will buy from them again.
Pros: It has a dragon on the motherboard and it works. I put in a processor and a graphics card and a CD drive and RAM and fans and a power supply - everything is working.
Cons: The dragon doesn't roar
Overall Review: I have no idea what I need in a motherboard. Everyone I've ever had either works or doesn't work. I bought this one because it has a dragon and I never had one with a dragon before. YOLO
Pros: Nice looking RAM, installed and works right away without issue.
Cons: A little pricey if not bought as part of a bundle.
Overall Review: I wasn't paying attention and thought I would be getting two sticks of 4GB for a total of 8, but it was 8GB on one stick. Not really a bad thing, but will have to buy another one for dual-channel performance.
Pros: Case has plenty of space, is lightweight, a good size, and has a lot of great features. I also like how it comes with the included fans and extra screws/hardware to get all set up. Air filters are a nice touch.
Cons: This thing is cheap. Super cheaply made. Examples: felt very fragile like I was going to snap the plastics whenever I handled it. Fan mounts only had two screw holes. CD drive does not sit flush with case. breakouts for expansion cards are cheap as well and only snap out. Overall paint and shape is not as great as I hoped. The case itself looks cheap.
Overall Review: I had an Antec Three Hundred case in the past, and that was nice and easy to work with. I saw the newegg video for this case and decided to go with it for the price. I expected similar quality in this case, but was disappointed.
My biggest grievance is the front fan mounts. I spent way too long on this install. I could not fit the provided fan screws through the small holes in the metal without bending the screw holes and ruining the metal on the case. HDD cage was in the way, and it is attached with cheap little rivets so there is no removing it. There were only two holes per fan, not the normal four. I had to line up my fans in the front without screws and wedge some foil between the fans and the front dust cover/plastics in order to hold them in place. My solution works, but it is very frustrating that something as simple as attaching a fan was botched in this case design.
Pros: Card arrived quickly, came in nice packaging, installed easily, and is working fine. Going from a 6850 to a 7950 for some new games coming out this year and next year. I hear the 7950 works really well. Went with this model because the price was good, I like the idea of dual fans, and the army chick on the box is hot.
Card came with a Crossfire cable which is nice, it isn't too wide, and fits in my Antec Three Hundred case, which I was afraid it wouldn't. The card is quiet and cool. I hear other models with dual fans are either too long for my case or loud, but this one is not at all a problem for me.
Cons: I do not see a $20 dollar rebate card or option, which was in the description.
I registered the product and joined the Sapphire Club, which doesn't really have any benefits as far as I can tell.
Overall Review: I would have liked to choose a different game pair instead of Bioshock/Crysis 3. The games are nice, but not ones I see myself playing anytime soon. Would have liked the Tomb Raider game I saw advertised as a bonus on lesser cards.
Pros: This cable is great. The price was great and the shipping was fast. Nice snug fit, great video quality, and the length is perfect. I've been messing with a standard 6-foot cable, which was just not long enough to reach my tower. Nothing is worse than having to keep disconnecting my monitor just to pull out my tower to get behind it. With this cord there's plenty of length without there being too much cable. I plan to keep this one for years to come.
Cons: Cable is kind of thick. Not really a con, but I was expecting something a little more thin and flexible.
Overall Review: I am not sure how much the gold plating helps over a standard cable, but I know it doesn't hurt anything.
Pros: I just bought my second one of these - my first one was from last year. Same packaging, size, shape, color, etc. I put it into Crossfire alongside my existing one and they both work great. I should have done this quite a while ago.
Cons: Sticker on the product from last year has been peeling a bit, but not anything that affects performance. Doesn't come with a Crossfire cable, which would have been nice.
Overall Review: I haven't had any of the issues others are talking about. For my personal experience, this is a good product. HIS disappointed me a while ago by discontinuing their 6950 model, which I had bought for a friend. Trying to find a second card that no longer exists was such a pain I ended up going with a different brand for him. I am glad to see this model is hanging around so far.
Pros: These fans were exactly what I was looking for to give my case some bling while keeping everything nice and cool. I had to go with a speed adjustable fan, because I like the idea of balance between speed and sound. I've had similar fans from Antec for quite a while and I have always been happy with them. I keep two of these on the front of my case and have them set to medium speed. Seems to work well for my needs and are not at all loud.
Cons: A bit pricey, but not the fan's fault. Something this nice will cost a bit more - however when it comes to blue LED fans with a speed switch, there isn't much to choose from.
Overall Review: These are very similar to the fans that come in the Antec 300 case also available on Newegg. If you're looking for a good deal, you may want to opt for the case that comes with these so you don't have to buy them separately.
Pros: This monitor comes from a quality brand and has never given me an issue. What's more - the stand is fully adjustable and allows the monitor to be in portrait or landscape mode out of the box. I used two of these for work in my past job. I couldn't have asked for a better monitor. I'm glad to see they're showing up on Newegg now, as last year these were hard to find.
Cons: They're not super cheap, like some other monitors I have seen.
Overall Review: You can get a cheaper monitor, built out of cheaper materials that come with a cheap stand and are prone to blow up, fade out, or break over time. OR you could do it right the first time and get one of these (or two). You also won't have to mess with buying separate mounting systems, monitor arms, or stacking the monitor on top of books to get it the right height/angle. Especially great to pair with an existing 22" monitor as the stand will match whatever position it is in.
Pros: Keyboard looks great, has all the buttons that I would expect. It feels very comfortable, is a good size, and very sturdy. Mouse feels very solid as well. Entire package feels professional and well worth the money. When it works, it works well. Uses AA batteries, which are easy to replace when needed.
Cons: Mouse is a big large, which takes some getting used to. Has some lag issues, if the receiver isn't close enough. These aren't constant, however.
Overall Review: When you get a keyboard/mouse like this, you expect it to just work. It seems like a burden to have to always be afraid of a lag spike, especially when gaming. I've had that issue with other keyboards though, so I am not sure how common this will be on other people's machines. I wish the connection was more reliable, but for the most part it works OK. As far as a wireless keyboard/mouse - this one is very nicely built and what I would expect as far as quality for the price.
Pros: This thing does a great job cooling the processor. The option to have two fans is nice, though i'm not sure where to get the second fan.
Cons: This thing is big, and a pain to install. Make sure you install this to your motherboard before putting the motherboard in the case, or you'll have to undo all that work to get this going. The size is also an issue depending ho you orient the heat sink. I had everything ready to go, when I realized that it was covering my RAM slots, and I had to take items back out to turn it vertically instead of horizontally.
Overall Review: The fan installs and comes off easy, which was great because I had to remove it several times to get components put to my motherboard. The heat paste that comes with it is nice also, but would have been more reliable to have a heat pad.
Pros: The GPS works and tells you where you are and knows the main streets. Comes with several voices to choose from and mounts easily. Touch screen works fine and it is easy to set up and work with. Comes with car charger and USB cord. Very cheap for a working GPS.
Cons: Kind of clunky and dated for a GPS. The voices are annoying and there are no map updates without paying an arm and a leg. Battery seems to hold a charge for a couple hours, but not ideal for long trips.
Overall Review: Sure beats the one I had on my little cheap cell phone. For this cost, if you're only going to GPS occasionally, this is a good deal. If you're looking for something decent, save up a little more and opt for a Garmin or something more modern.
Pros: I've had several of these, and never had an issue. These are great drives, will handle any disc, and are alwasy reliable. You can't beat the price either. Installs easily and works perfectly.
Overall Review: I had a stock DVD + RW drive on my Gateway tower when I bought it a few years back. It wouldn't read some game discs I threw at it, and was always failing disc burns and having trouble reading things. Same with several other computer's i've dealt with. With the LG Super Multi Drive, I have never had a worry.
Pros: Runs quiet, installs easily - great for a main case fan or a second system fan.
Cons: Comes with a 4-pin motherboard connector, installing on a 3-pin socket. Not a big deal, but if I was paying more attention I would have looked for a 3-pin fan. Also, does NOT come with an adapter to plug into a normal power plug on a PSU.
Overall Review: The rubber stickies to block out some vibration noise work well.
Pros: I ordered this processor because they were out of the 3.4 Ghz version when I went to buy. I am not disappointed at all - this thing is great. It runs fast, installs easily, and even comes with a little sticker for the front of my box so everyone knows. My motherboard detected it right away, and tested it working fine.
The fan is not loud either, at least not louder than any other fan i've heard - so don't be worried. The stock heat sink/fan are very professional and contain plenty of heat distribution features. Much nicer than what I thought a stock fan would be.
Overall Review: The box was smaller than I thought - it was packed in there pretty tight like those iPods often are. There was also a pad of thermal compound already on the processor which made for an easy install.
I don't plan to overclock, but I hear if you did want to do so heat would be a concern.
Pros: This power supply works, looks nice, installs easily, and has all the plugs and wires you would need for your system build. I've been using Diablotek for years- I have never had a problem and they have never failed on me. You can't beat the price either.
Cons: No cons yet, but I am being cautious
Overall Review: If you plan to max out the 600W - you may want to look for a nicer brand. I do hear it does not perform well under heavy load, but so far it works great for me. I use a Phenom II125W processor, 8GB RAM, Radeon HD 6850, 2X DVD RW drdives, 500GB HD, and several fans on this processor. I feel safe doing so, and have not had a problem.
If I were going to switch to two graphics cards and increase my RAM, I would definately look into a better PSU. For a mid-range gaming PC on a budget - I would recommend this to anyone.
Pros: This motherboard ships fast and installs easily into my case. I didn't have any issue with any components on the board and everything is installed and working fine. I was nervous with the poor reviews, but it seems I have no issue with this board. It also supports CrossFireX - and I plan to try that in the near future as everything seems to work well thus far.
Cons: Setup of the drivers/motherboard utilities is a bit confusing
Overall Review: I don't plan to overclock with this motherboard, but the option is there. I am running a 125W processor, 8GB RAM, Radeon HD6850, 500GB hard drive, 2X DVD RW drives, several fans, and a 600W power supply. No issues thus far.
Pros: Just wanted to mention, I did get my set in the mail today. First of all, the RAM did ship quickly and installed very easily. The packaging was also easy to open, so I did not have to worry about ripping plastic or cutting into the product. the pictures do not do it justice. This RAM looks very professional, has a good weight to it, and comes in a metallic finish. I was also surprised how low profile it was, considering the picture made it look like it was going to be tall and bulky. The set also came with a case sticker, which really accents my case well.
Cons: No cons to speak of.
Overall Review: Reading the reviews, I know mine will not change your mind to how reliable and quality this RAM is. I just wanted to mention it is much nicer in person than in the pictures.
Pros: Very roomy, easy to install components, two very nice cooling fans with variable speed settings, nice design, comes with plenty of additional screws/hardware, easy to set up. Case dose not feel cheap at all.
Cons: The design is kind of plain and boring.
Overall Review: I bought this case from another major retailer (sorry Newegg) because it was on sale for $45. I had been looking at this case for well over a year and when it was finally reasonably priced I snagged it up. I am very satisfied with how easy it was to install everything and how universal this case is. The design might be a little boring, but there are plenty of design features that allow for upgrades in the future. I currently have a mini-atx motherboard, but might upgrade to a full size in the future. Power supply mounts on the bottom (with room for airflow around it) which looks pretty cool.
The designers of this case really had a universal design that anticipates any components someone may want to install for today's builds, and into the future. I will definately hold onto this case for a while and keep it for future upgrades and builds.
