Easy to Setup! Awesome LEDs! Lots of Expansion Space!

ASUS 970 PRO GAMING/AURA AM3+ AMD 970 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 ATX AMD Motherboard
ASUS 970 PRO GAMING/AURA AM3+ AMD 970 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: - I love this mobo. After having issues with several others I finally settled on this and couldn't be happier. - The onboard LEDs are awesome, even if they are unnecessary. - There's plenty of expansion space with two PCE-E slots (plenty of room in between), multiple case fan ports, plenty of SATA connectors and more! - The back panel is perhaps one of the best I've ever had the pleasure of installing. There are no tabs to get in your way and the metal is not sharp so it won't cut you. The back I/O ports for the mobo slide in nicely and stay snug. - Most mobos are compact and this can cause issues with space between the CPU fan and the RAM, especially if you use a large after-market cooler (which you should). This mobo on the other hand has plenty of room. I am able to use all four DIMM slots even with a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO fan which is pretty big. - Great price! - Incredibly easy to setup! - The bios is awesome and easy to use. If you're big on overclocking you can't go wrong as this one includes plenty of settings to customize and adjust. - All components on the board are durable including the headers, breakers and fuses. - The LED error indicator is a godsend. It will tell you immediately if there are issues with DRAM, VGA, or BOOT devices.

Cons: - No cons so far!

Overall Review: - I absolutely love this mobo! Now I just need to see how long it lasts. Here's hoping for a long while.

2 DOA Boards, Moved On

MSI 970A SLI Krait Edition AM3+ AMD 970 & SB950 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 ATX AMD Motherboard
MSI 970A SLI Krait Edition AM3+ AMD 970 & SB950 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: - The board looks good, especially with the black and white design - There's plenty of space to add your components and still have room to work or maneuver

Cons: - No speaker is included, so it's tough to tell what's wrong - I had 2 boards arrive DOA, would not power on let alone POST - Replacement board arrived with a broken or chipped USB 3.0 pin (and I'm not talking about the blank pin slot), it may have still worked but I was unable to verify since the board wouldn't power on

Overall Review: Can't say much else considering I didn't get to work with either board. If it matters, I paired it with an AMD FX-8320 (Vishera) which is supported. I also tested the RAM, PSU, and GPU in another computer and they all work fine. After returning this board I decided to go with the ASUS 970 PRO GAMING/AURA instead. It was only slightly more expensive and according to reviews it's a better board anyway.

Great Price for a Combo!

CM Storm Devastator - LED Gaming Keyboard and Mouse Combo Bundle (Red Edition)
CM Storm Devastator - LED Gaming Keyboard and Mouse Combo Bundle (Red Edition)

Pros: - Looks awesome, especially when the LEDs are illuminated -My favorite color is red - Easy to setup and use (plug and play) - Great price - Has multimedia keys which is a bonus (stop, pause/play, previous, next, volume up, volume down) - Easy to clean - Mouse has multiple DPI settings - Relatively long USB cables for both the mouse and keyboard

Cons: - Due to the design, some of the letters appear to be worn because the LED doesn't always shine through brightly, but this is not a major issue and has no bearing on performance

Overall Review: I held off upgrading my keyboard for a long time, but now I'm realizing I shouldn't have. This combo offers great value for the price and they both look fantastic.
