Fantastic For the Price!1/19/2014 12:44:41 PM

Pros: The contrast is fantastic. Extremely bright whites and very deep blacks. Colors are very vivid, and the images are very smooth. Has some nice heft to it as well.

Cons: The arm connecting the monitor to the base.

Overall Review: In regards to the arm, do not be drawn away from the monitor because of that. It's extremely solid, and the hinges keeping everything together are very strong. However, if you're like me, and don't read the manual cover-to-cover, when setting the monitor up, check under the base. There are two bolts (with little handles to tighten them with!) Get your monitor to the height and tilt you prefer, then tighten those bolts. I didn't know they were there, and when my chair bumped into my desk, it was enough force to send the thing off kilter. So, now I've got a broken monitor on my hands. However, don't let that steer you away. This is a fantastic monitor, as long as there's no sort of user error!

Began Failing after 1 month.12/17/2013 3:39:00 PM

Pros: Card runs quietly and cool, easy install and fits inside my case well.

Cons: After about 30 days, the card began to fail on me. I was able to boot into the BIOS no problem, but when booting into Windows it began to run an auto-repair, and failed. After which point, my PC was stuck in a boot loop. I pulled the card and replaced it with a much older GT450.

Overall Review: My old GT450 is supporting 2 monitors and running better than the GT640 did. Both cards are by MSI. I had tried running the GT640 in two other PC's and had the same auto-repair/boot loop issue. Not a buy it for life card. Won't be investing in one again.
