Vantec NexStar TX 2.5" SATA to USB 2.0 External Hard Drive / SSD Enclosure - Model NST-210S2-BK

Pros: Perfect for what it is..

Cons: None really.

Overall Review: Read lots of reviews about this.....not sure what some people expect. Put your HDD in it, close it up, forget it. Sure, it might not be the greatest for travel, but its not really advertised for that. I've had it uplugged, plugged in, back and forth, upstairs, downstairs, and so far I've not had a single issue. Hotswapped it several times. Always recognizes it immediately. Jeeez, don't smash it around and it will be fine. Do you smash your other electronics around and expect them to last???

Western Digital Scorpio Black WD7500BPKT 750GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 2.5" Internal Notebook Hard Drive Bare Drive

Pros: No issues left. Western Digital has usually worked well for me.

Cons: Hasn't died yet. Knock on wood. Any hard drive can crash at any time, just go easy on the stuff.....

Overall Review: Using this in an ext case for movies. I have it on a G-box MX2, and keep moving it to and fro.....uploading movies and such. I don't smack it around, and treat it nice...so far it has returned the favor.

G-box MX2

Matricom G-Box Midnight MX2 Android 4.2 Jelly Bean Dual Core XBMC Streaming Mini HTPC TV Box Player
Matricom G-Box Midnight MX2 Android 4.2 Jelly Bean Dual Core XBMC Streaming Mini HTPC TV Box Player

Pros: XBMC....android apps....games on a 59" TV!

Cons: A little laggy, just switching between screens and apps. Nothing that I've noticed while playing back movies or even watching streamed movies. I have it wired, since the wireless has been very flaky. I emailed Matricom about it, asking for some help or ideas. This was 2 weeks ago. No replies. I was going to wire it direct eventually, just had to bite the bullet sooner.

Overall Review: Besides Matricom's lack of help, its a neat little box. Did a LOT of research before choosing this, and hopefully it lasts me awhile. Buy yourself a mini wireless keyboard, the remote that comes with it works, but man it takes forever to type anything. Still new to it, and still finding things out, but I had a movie playing within 5 minutes. Not hard to figure out if you have an android phone or ever worked with one. Choose the 3d launcher at start up!! Lots of info on youtube if you need help....don't bother asking the manufacturer...

TP-Link 5 Port 10/100 Mbps Fast Ethernet Switch | Desktop Ethernet Splitter | Ethernet Hub | Plug & Play | Fanless Quiet | Desktop Design | Green Technology | Unmanaged (TL-SF1005D), White

Pros: Just what the description says. If you are looking for this product, you know what it does....and it does it just fine.

Cons: I haven't found one yet. Going to hook up 2 more things to it as soon as I get more cables....we shall see.

Overall Review: Needed to split my Ethernet cable from my router (which is downstairs) up to my TV, G-box, PS3, and Satellite receiver. Easier to run one 40 foot cable than it is to run four! I'm only sharing it with my G-box and smart TV at the present, and its flawless so far. As soon as I get my other cables, I will run it to the other 2 as well. I foresee no issues.
