Perfect for HP MediaSmart Server
Pros: Perfect DYI upgrade for underpowered EX470. With the OEM CPU and ram (512) my HP Console app would take 30-45 seconds to open up. I combined this upgrade with a new AMD processor and now it takes 10 seconds. Everything is snappier when connected. Price: Hard to beat!
Cons: Nothing...chips are perfect for what I'm asking them to do.
Overall Review: I'm continually amazed at how inexpensive chips have become. Nobody should be running a system today w/o at a minimum 2GB.
Simple to use, simple to overclock, worked right out of the box
Pros: Overclocked to 5.1 on my i7-10700K without any work other than to use the Asus suite. Because the 1200 LGA mounts are compatible w/1150 my older EKWB CPU water block fit perfectly. I was also able to mix same company and similar speed but different RAM size (2x8 & 2x16) at 3600 w/o issue as well (made a mistake while ordering...but it works!)
Cons: User manual was light...covered the basics but it could use a redo. I would add a complete OC guide as well...although understand from warranty why they might not want to do that.
Overall Review: Solid part, elegant simplicity, reasonable price, now just release some more GPU's...
Is exactly what was promised
Pros: Layout, unique way to secure tempered glass, wire management, easy to create a boutique-like PC without mad builder skills, thermals, flexibility to go water or air, solid construction, SUPER space to easily build complex hard-line loops and still have a lot of space left over despite the overall dimensions of the case.
Cons: Heavy...understand trade-off w/price but wish they made an all-aluminum version, front glass panel a little hard to take off, case "feet" a tad cheap looking and take away from the look
Overall Review: I replaced a Casemods S3 case with this and couldn't be happier. I will probably replace the case feet w/some mod-based aluminum feet. Make sure you check your video card dimensions if planning to go w/horizontal card...might not fit. They sell a riser card to go vertical w/GPU (it's what I'm doing). Best airflow that I've researched is intake side and bottom, exhaust top.
Works as advertised
Pros: Easy setup, fantastic on-line support, solid distance and bandwidth, beautiful design, once setup...forget about it...it just works. ALso...unbeknownst to some...Ubiquiti is a solid brand name in the Enterprise market...this bodes well for future support and capabilities.
Cons: Not a con but everyone should read the FAQ's up on their web site. If you already have a modem/wireless router in place (like an Actiontec for FIOS) you have two options...setup off a FIOS ethernet port and it acts as a subnet...and devices on your Actiontec router will not "see" those on the AMplifi. Or...setup the ActionTec in Bridge mode and allow the Amplifi to manage ALL your connected devices (as the only DHCP provider). Like with everything...Read the instructions.
Much better than advertised...as good a card in this price range as you can get
Pros: - Performance to cost to power to ability to cool card as good as I've seen in this price range - Games run in ultra-gfx settings on WQHD (2560x1440) without a problem - Not that loud when fans are at max...perfectly silent even if fans at 20-30% - Red scheme fits my current PC setup wonderfully....
Cons: - I wish it could have been released last year when I bought my GTX 780
Overall Review: - It's a very large card...especially height...make sure you measure your case (especially if mini) carefully -
Solid PSU, whisper quiet so far
Pros: Professional packaging w/nice bag for extra cables, fully modular, very quiet so far, full set of cables necessary to do 3X SLI, has a standard footprint.
Cons: None have cropped up so far
Overall Review: I'm running 2X GTX 460, eVGA X58 mobo w/i7 OC to 4GHz, a full watercool solution w/12V pump, 2 SSD's, 2 1 TB HD's, lighting, five fans...and no power issues so far. Have also modded the ATX and PCIE cables to individual cable sleeves. Not sure if this is a con...ATX cable has some serious looking capacitors...4 in all including three seriously large ones)...PCIE has one each...because of the capacitors it's difficult to make DIY cable sleeving look decent.
