Front panel plugs were difficult to figure out...

ASRock M3A770DE AM3 AMD 770 ATX AMD Motherboard
ASRock M3A770DE AM3 AMD 770 ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: Once you figure it out, it's awesome.

Cons: The manual doesn't describe very well on how to place pins and plugs. That is, until you look under the front cover and there it is in beautiful color. I understand why they did it is so they could put it in color without having a glossy page mid manual, but if you don't know where to look and have never done it before you will be lost for a while like me. The software disc comes with all kinds of bloatware and software. The reason I wanted to build a PC was to get rid of that stuff. You do have options to install seperate things, but they aren't described very well and I guess unless you've done this before you won't know exactly what's needed and what isn't. I just installed all the drivers and Adobe Reader.

Overall Review: This is my first build.

Most Critical Review

Windows 7 gives it a 5.9 out of 7.9.

SAMSUNG Spinpoint F4 HD322GJ/U 320GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive
SAMSUNG Spinpoint F4 HD322GJ/U 320GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive

Pros: It fit and works.

Cons: 320GB is what it says... Mine has less than 300 available before installing OS. Windows gives it a 5.9 out of 7.9. The worst part of my new budget PC build.

Overall Review: I ignored people telling me to spend just a little more on a better product and I'm pretty disappointed I didn't listen to them.

Two side panel fans dead and more...

Sentey Black Box Series BX2-4292 v2.1 Mid Tower Computer Case / HD Audio / SECC 0.7mm / 4x USB /E-Sata / 4x 120mm Fans (+ 3 Optional) / HD CAGE / ATX-MATX-ITX
Sentey Black Box Series BX2-4292 v2.1 Mid Tower Computer Case / HD Audio / SECC 0.7mm / 4x USB /E-Sata / 4x 120mm Fans (+ 3 Optional) / HD CAGE / ATX-MATX-ITX

Pros: It's beautiful... Sturdy.

Cons: No instructions. About as user friendly as a DMV associate. There isn't a I/O Plate filler in the case. So it was difficult to tell where the I/O plate was to go because there are multiple lips there for it to fit. I shoved mine in too hard and it's warped. If there had been a filler in there I would have known how to put my I/O plate in. Two of the side fans are dead. They light, but don't fly. (This MAY be my ignorance here.) My optical drive didn't fit in the top bay and when I put it in the 2nd bay the screw holes don't line up with the tool less design. I had to screw it in a different location. Most guides for building a PC say there should be marks for where to put your motherboard in the case. AM scratches next to holes for standoffs. Yea... None of that here. I had to line up mine mobo with the preinstalled standoff and install the brass standoffs one by one while lining up the holes with the mobo in there. Very annoying.

Overall Review: My tech isn't great.. I wouldn't recommend this for a first builder.

Ultra on World of Warcraft: Cataclysm with exceptions...

SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 6850 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card with Eyefinity (100315L )
SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 6850 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card with Eyefinity (100315L )

Pros: Easy to Install.. Came with XFire stuff and an adaptor if your monitor uses something different.

Cons: I haven't found any yet, but my tech isn't that great.

Overall Review: It will run WoW on Ultra... Unless you are in Orgrimmar surrounded by 5+ players. Out in front of banks and AH it drops to around 10 on Ultra and really stays that way unless you set it on Good. (A couple steps below Ultra.)

I was most nervous about this part with my 1st Build...

Antec EarthWatts Green EA-380D Green 380W Continuous power ATX12V v2.3 / EPS12V 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply - Intel Haswell Fully Compatible
Antec EarthWatts Green EA-380D Green 380W Continuous power ATX12V v2.3 / EPS12V 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply - Intel Haswell Fully Compatible

Pros: Easy to install and despite being 380w (The number I focused on as a new builder.) it runs my whole system really well. No issues so far.

Cons: No plug... And they rub it in your face on the insert talking about how it's more eco friendly if you just use your old one. Well... If you don't have an old one what then smarty pants?! I did though... so I wasn't too upset by it.

Overall Review: The tower I got has 4 fans with 4 prong plugs that won't go into the mobo. There weren't enough plugs on the power supply for it. It's probably my tech ignorance showing by admitting it.

It Works.

AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition - Phenom II X4 Deneb Quad-Core 3.2 GHz Socket AM3 125W Processor - HDZ955FBGMBOX

Pros: I'm not very tech oriented, but installation and everything was a breeze. First build.

Cons: It is loud. You can hear it 10 feet away.
