Pros: 1. Very cool looking
2. Very Easy to setup
3. Night Vision
4. Records Video and and Images when in protection mode.
5. Can change the backgrounds
6. Able to access the Sentri from your phone.
7. Able to add multiple Sentri devices tot he app.
Cons: 1. The "Bank security" is limited to the connecting to the cloud and app.
2. There is no security on the device itself.
3. Anyone who walks up to it can see the image and video history simply by swiping left.
4. No way to hard reset the device that I can find online or in the literature.
5. No way to delete the video or image history.
Overall Review: Bought this for Christmas to keep an eye on the inside of the house. New Years eve we caught the kids watching the captured video of my girlfriend walking naked through the house while the kids weren't home to get a drink. We cant keep them from accessing the videos, we cant delete the videos, and we cant reset the device. Our only option was to remove it. The other thing with security is, since there is none on the device, the kids or the cleaning lady or my grandmother can just simply turn the protection mode off themselves and we would never know what happens next.
Pros: Ive been using this in my work vehicle for a few months now and
thought Id give it some time in Florida heat before I wrote a review.
Lightweight, great picture. can have the image on constantly or have
it run with the screen off. The power cable that comes with it is very
long allowing to to hide the cables behind panels and headliner.
Cons: none so far.
Overall Review: Tip: I don't like power cords tangling down from my windshield, so I
have a 12000 mAh power bank that I have Velcro attached to the top
of my windshield behind my mirror. The power bank runs the camera
for the entire day with the LCD running or a couple days with the screen
off. This keeps cables from dangling down the windshield and out of
your way. Just plug the bank into the charger once you're done driving
for the day.
Pros: Extremely easy to setup
The sound is GREAT. Very clear base and highs.
Good Charge time, and charges quickly
Good range, can walk around freely without having to worry about a cord.
Lifting the mic to mute it is awesome, dont want people to hear you chewing.
Cons: The mic was super clear the first week I had it but started to fall off with
people having trouble hearing me after a few days of use, The mic hasnt
seemed to have gotten worse past that and I just keep it closer to my mouth.
Overall Review: The mic getting low after a few days could just be a bad apple in mine, so
not going to ding to much for it because even though the quality went down,
at least it still works without any hassle.
Pros: Hundreds of FREE watch faces available (Glance is my favorite).
Lasts me the entire day, I come take it off and put it on the charger.
The vibrating feedback lets me keep my notification audio alerts on
my phone off while I'm working. I can screen my messages and emails
through my watch for importance. Stylish and low profile. Comfortable.
Has a phone finder, now I gotta get it to find my keys.... ha
Cons: No Wifi, but Wifi is available in the Zenwatch 2.
Pros: 1. Nice Design
2. The brushed aluminum surface is actually aluminum and not plastic
made to look like aluminum. Which also adds a little weight to it.
3. 4 available USB 3.0 ports
4. No power cord (A couple bonuses to this I'll add in my comments)
Overall Review: I love that there is no power cord to this. One thing is that I hate
trying to find or make an available power outlet to plug things into.
The other thing is, since there is no AC Power required to run this, it
can be used in the car. Since the newer cars have their USB
connected to auxiliary audio, Id connect this to USB adapter in your
DC power port and charge multiple devices.
Pros: Looks great, lightweight.
Cons: I have to return the watch because the wrist band does not fit on my wrist. The one I purchased has the leather strap and wont clasp onto my wrist not even tightly. this is the same issue I ran into with the Samsung Gear watch. Im not an excessivly large guy but all of the smart watches out there seem to be outside of my realm because the straps dont adjust out far enough. I have to stick to a normal watch until someone comes out with a longer band, just 2 more size holes is all I need and Im a happy camper, til them, this watch gets sent back.
Pros: It has a good feel to it and the screen is nice. Very easy to setup and use.
Cons: The audio didn't work, I double checked the specks to make sure it had a speaker, which it does, but no sound. The audio jack does work, so I can attach it to external speakers or headphones.
Overall Review: Other than the audio, this has been a good little tablet, I would order another for the price on the refurb.
Pros: My gaming apps seem to run well. I was able to run avi and divx movies that I uploaded to the microSD card. Granted it ia a tablet for under $100, but PLEASE READ THE CONS before purchasing.
Cons: 1. BUY AN ADDITIONAL Micro SD CARD. This tablet has 8GB of internal memory to which only just over 3GB is available for storage.
2. The screen can only really be viewed from directly in front of it. The colors distort at any other angle and make it hard see. Hard to watch a movie while laying in bed unless your holding it up directly in front of you.
3. The battery life only lasts for about 3 hours, 4 hours if you turn the brightness down.
4. Response time from selecting options and loading applications is lacking. I found myself hitting buttons on non-network applications 2 or 3 times before it would process.
5. There is no GPS software loaded on this tablet or any mention of GPS software in the paperwork in the box. It does have google maps which requires a network connect to run. So unless you're tethering off a wireless hotspot in your car or using your data plan on your phone to run it. Its a sketchy bit of advertising there.
Pros: VERY sturdy case with overkill on cooling ability. To the contrary of post that this case was loud, mine is super super quiet with only the stock fans running. even with a mammoth SILVERSTONE NT06-PRO Low Profile CPU Cooler with Thin 120mm fan inside. Even after a year the front USB ports have been super reliable along with the front audio ports which I have had problems with in the past with previous cases.
Cons: Not as easy to work in as a tower due to the power supply covering part of the motherboard, but the power supply easily unscrews and slides out of the back.
Overall Review: Had this case for over a year now and still enjoy it as much now as I did when I first got it.
Pros: Since I hate cords dangling off my windshield in the car, I velcro one of these to my windshield and run my drive camera and phone charger off it with the provided cords. This actually can run the camera for 2 days solid before needing to be recharged. I keep another in my tool bag in case of emergencies.
Overall Review: One tip. I've had this happen on a couple occasions where I will run the battery completely down and hook it up to a wall charger and it will blink a few times and not charge. Run the cable to the computer til the first bar is steady and then you can charge like normal off a wall charger.
Pros: Tightens nice and sturdy into the cup holder and puts it in a pretty perfect spot to use. The ipad 2 fits in it perfect verticle AND horizontally, you just have to unlock the tab at the bottom left corner to expand. It also works well with a netbook.
Cons: It would be nice if it was extended a couple more inches, but other than that, its perfect for what I need.
Pros: This unit is small, lightweight and pretty easy to setup to a point. It has a pretty decent picture. You can zoom in and out and get a good wide angle. Note that when zooming in, the resolution does not enhance, it just makes everything bigger. I got this unit for like $33.59 so I gave it 3 stars because it does pretty much what a $30 unit should do to a degree. If you want something for basic recording without needing to be able to make out the plate numbers
Cons: The DC adapter stopped working the morning of the second day I owned it. The fuse hadn't blown, it just stopped working. It was easily replaced by my old motorola car charger. Even at the highest resolution it was hard to make out a plate number on the video from the car in front of me even stopped at the light. The power plug in is located at the top of the unit which makes it a little awkward to plug in and have the cord curl and drape down across the unit. The motion sensor is not very sensative, it will turn off recording until a vehicle passes by or you get right up on another vehicle. Also the motion sensor will not turn the unit on and start recording. If the motion sensor stays idle for too long the unit will power off and then you have to manually turn the unit back on. The micro SD card will not go in or remove by simply pushing it in with your finger, I have to use a dime or key to get it in and out. It would be a pro that its not that easy for someone to remove, but a con because its not so easy to put in or remove.
Overall Review: None of the cons I have listed are overly major issues, but things you should know when purchasing this unit.
Pros: Nice and sturdy. Metal case with good weight. Has a power button and light that flashes red when charging from the outlet, green when fully charged and lights blue when powered on. Charges the phone quickly. The 3000 mAh is enough to get you out of a bind when your phone is running dead. If that is what you need, it is absoutely perfect for it. Built more than well enough to keep in your pocket or bag without having to worry about it getting damaged. At the sale price of $14.99 when I got it, it was a GREAT bargain.
Cons: For its intended power output, no complaints here.
Overall Review: For what it is made for as a reliable backup for an about dead phone, its already earned its money back, unfortunately I need a little more juice, so upgrading.
Pros: No filter to clean. Quick. Convenient. Was a great sale price for under $100. My kids would always get up and make themselves some coffee and leave me the coffee filter and pot to clean. No more of that, they just pick a flavor, pop it in and go. The only cleanup is throwing the K-cup away and cleaning their cup. I can deal with that.
Cons: Wish it had a timer. The smell of the coffee automatically brewing wakes me up in the morning, but the positives definately outweigh the negatives
Pros: Very comfortable, Easy pairing. Charge case is great to protect it while charging.
Cons: Worked for about 1 minute. Once I paired it, the light went out and wouldn't turn on again. Charged it overnight with no effect. Finally responded again after 24 hours but died again after I tried to pair it again. I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S III, so there shouldn't be a compatibility issue.
Overall Review: Just hoping I got the 1 bad apple in the bunch. Newegg was very very helpful with issueing an RMA for me and sending me a prepaid shipping label. Hopefully the replacement works out.
