Exactly what I need
Pros: The size is such a great asset when working that I would find it hard to go back. I do a lot of coding, so I hook this up to my macbook - and VIM never looked better =P. I don't use this monitor for any seriously graphics-intensive purposes, but everything I've seen is great. Great contrast/brightness/color balance after tweaking.
Cons: Small viewing angle, but I don't personally care about that - it's more than sufficient for my purposes. Included stand is a bit more flimsy than I would prefer, but definitely use-able.
Overall Review: Get a computer with a good graphics card if you want to drive this display and do some serious visual work - my computer's integrated graphics sputters when using complex screensavers (but is fine for movies, I assume because of built-in H.264 help).
Worth the money
Pros: Overall quite good sound quality with the bass bump I just couldn't get with my headphones. I may simply not have the ear for it, but I can't tell much of a difference between these and a friend's Bose 3.2.1. system playing various cd-quality music tracks.
Cons: Subwoofer is somewhat large
Overall Review: This system seems to handle all ranges well. Not too much equalizer tweaking was necessary out-of-the-box - a few people claim the midrange tones are weak, but I find them to be fine. I mainly got these because I don't want to be tethered to my computer by headphones and wanted good clean bass like I end up getting from this system. So far I've tested with various sorts of losslessly transcoded music (electronica, opera, rock, classical) and movies, and I haven't found any noticeable flaw.
