Nice X870E MB for the value. "This review for ASRock review rebate program."

Pros: - Solidly built; - Great power delivery HW and heatsinks; - Easy NVME installation for the first two drives with good heatsinks. - Easy graphics card release mechanism; - Helpful debug LED's. - Great value for the X870E platform.
Cons: - The Realtek RT8126 Ethernet chip does not have a Linux driver in the kernel yet. The driver available from the Realtek website is old and does not compile for the most recent kernel releases. I had to pull an older card from my hardware pile to get Ethernet support on Linux. If you use mostly Windows, you should be ok, I think. I don't use Windows, so I can't check for that. - There is no printed manual, only a quick install sheet. - The X870E chipset is just a re-branded X670E, with a mandatory external USB4 port. Thus, you might want to consider an X670E MB with an updated BIOS instead, as they may be more affordable.
Overall Review: Even though there was no printed manual, the PDF version available on ASRock's website contains a very helpful block diagram of the board. This is very helpful in planning what and how to connect certain devices to certain PCIe or NVME slots, to maximize I/O bandwidth. The UEFI firmware is very nice and easily helped me configure my older 7950X with a 4 DIMM DDR5 128GB configuration with 5200 MT/s speed. I can definitely recommend this board for anyone considering an AMD 7000 or 9000 series CPU. But if you use mostly Linux like me, you will need a separate Ethernet card. In this case, you might want to look at an alternative that has Linux supported hardware. For this reason, I have to give it 4 Eggs instead of 5.
Looks great at first, but after a few months temps start rising until CPU starts throttling or suffers thermal shutdown.

Pros: Initially it worked great, it would keep my 1950x relatively cool even under load.
Cons: But a few months after I purchased one, the CPU temp starts slowly rising to a point where the CPU has to throttle back to 550Mhz or just suffers a thermal shutdown.
Overall Review: I would not recommend this product. I am looking for another brand.
1 of 4 of the SX8100's that I bought here had unrecoverable errors after only 3 months of use.

Pros: Cheaper than competition at the time I purchased them.
Cons: Slower than most similarly priced NVMe's.
Overall Review: I RMA'd the defective NVMe to Adata 12/2/2022 to their Brea, CA site. When I request status of the RMA on their website, they say the product has not been received. When I try to send a status request on their website's contact and support page, it responds that there was an error. I have not received any update from them. I am very frustrated at their unresponsiveness and would most definitely -- NOT -- recommend any Adata product at the moment.
