Great RAM for the Price

OCZ Gold 2GB (2 x 1GB) DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model OCZ2G8002GK
OCZ Gold 2GB (2 x 1GB) DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model OCZ2G8002GK

Pros: Good deal, looks nice, decent overclocking. I am really happy with this purchase -- but as others have mentioned make sure to check your motherboard specs before you buy it!

Cons: Runs fairly warm (might be a problem for some systems) -- heatspreader looks better than it actually functions.

Overall Review: Most of the poor reviews for this have either been 1) people who didn't investigate their MB before purchasing and 2) people who got bad sticks (something that can happen with any memory). If you're in the market for a cheap 2GB this is a great deal.

Can't beat it for the price

Avera 55EQX10 55-Inch 2160p 4K LED Television - Black
Avera 55EQX10 55-Inch 2160p 4K LED Television - Black

Pros: Cheap. Good picture quality. Features as advertised.

Cons: The sound isn't great and the remote feels cheap. If you want better sound and a better remote pay a couple hundred $$$ more.

Good for the Price

Rosewill Black Solar Garden Lights - 10 Lights Set
Rosewill Black Solar Garden Lights - 10 Lights Set

Pros: Depending on how much you pay, these Solar LED's can be an excellent bargain. They're roughly the same quality as the big box store "store brand" solar LEDs (so price accordingly). I can understand being upset if you pay full retail price for these, but realistically - they work fine, and if you expect professional class solar LEDs you're going to pay considerably more.

Cons: You have to assemble the lights yourself (Cap, base, in ground spike). It's not enjoyable, but it helps keep the shipping box small.

Overall Review: These lights can be an extremely good value but make sure you have realistic expectations about lower price solar LEDs. They do a fine enough job of holding a charge and outlining a boundary or pathway. Anything more than that - you're going to need to upgrade.

Pretty Darn Good

Amana ACD12KEE 12,000 Cooling Capacity (BTU)
Amana ACD12KEE 12,000 Cooling Capacity (BTU)

Pros: Inexpensive, cools well, easy install

Cons: Quality control.

Overall Review: I have two of these refurbished units. They're definitely powerful and cool the recommended area quite well. A powerful 12000BTU unit. The only observation I have is that one unit is quite a bit quieter than the other. So depending on your needs, you might not get the quietest unit -- but it'll still get the job done at a great price.

Great White Case

NZXT Alpha White Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
NZXT Alpha White Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: I was looking for a nice white case for quite some time -- I was really happy to discover the NZXT Alpha White. It's nice looking and sturdy. The only downside is that the side case fan lights up BRIGHT blue -- so if you don't like that I would recommend a purchasing an extra fan. Other than that -- great case.

Cons: None. Maybe price

Great Little Machine

ASUS Eee PC Eee PC 1000H 80G Fine Ebony Intel Atom 10.0" WSVGA 1GB Memory 80GB HDD NetBook
ASUS Eee PC Eee PC 1000H 80G Fine Ebony Intel Atom 10.0" WSVGA 1GB Memory 80GB HDD NetBook

Pros: To start with, I was a bit nervous about purchasing any EEE (or similar) model because of my computing needs and the fact that I have above average hand size. While the keys seem slightly out of place I have been able to get touch typing down at a respectable rate (after a few hours of practice). In terms of computing power, the 1000 has handled everything I’ve thrown at it and comfortably runs itunes, word, and statistical software without any problems what so ever. I’ve only ran it down a few times but for me the battery life has lasted between 4.5 (running the above software) to just under 6 hours (just surfing the net). While slightly heavier than other models – the weight and size of the machine still makes it very easy to transport and carry around. Ultimately, the 1000 is not a desktop replacement or a video/audio editing type machine, but for light office work and recreational use – I love this machine.

Cons: The keyboard does flex slightly, the top does show the occasional fingerprint, and there does not appear to be a way to do a fresh install of XP out of the box (you can restore to the original setup with the included DVD or secure a clean version of windows and use your key) – but other than those relatively minor things, I have nothing bad to say about this machine other than I wish it came out sooner.

Overall Review: You might want to try it with the included 1GB of RAM first – but ultimately I upgraded to 2GB. It did slightly increase the “snappiness” of the system but depending on what you intend on using it for – this may or may not justify spending a few extra $$$.
