AMD is rock solid and im back!
Pros: This model is not overclock and this is perfect. All my 1080p gaming is in ultra setting all the time. Amd driver are up to date and they work perfectly. Im really impress whit this card and recommend XFX. The quality is there, and in my casing no overheating at all after long session. I use pci express 2.0 for this card and the result is amazing. My pc is from 2011 and this is a perfect match. Im using the dvi output on a acer 24in full hd monitor and picture quality is awsome. The 2 fans work really good and stop when your not gaming. Also i find them to be quit.
Cons: At first i had no video output at all, i had to flash my uefi bios on my motherboard and clear semos. After that i put the setting to legacy in the bios and voila! Note that im using this card in a socket 1155 mobo from 2011 and a I5 processor,
Overall Review: In the last decade i was a nvidia guy but now, i change for AMD and i dont regret it at all. Make yourself a favor and consider this XFX card rx 480 4G for your rig, its the ultimate 1080p card right now. If your hesitate about the 4gig memory dont, its all you need to game im 1080p at 60fps in ultra setting. they provide a spliter cable if you need it but i had the 8 pin on my Antec 650w already. Nvidia and their crazy price lost a custumer for sure. Have a nice day fellow pc gamer im back!
Black deluxe is king
Pros: 1: Will accept ivy bridge in april 2012. 2: Will be pci-express 3.0 whit a bios upgrade (only for video card). 3: nice layout on this board. 4: UEFI bios is very complete. 5: SLI compatible. 6: flashing UEFI bios is very easy and beautiful after.
Cons: No big deal: by default in the UEFI bios my ssd was connect in IDE mode and i did change it to obtain a great 7.7 in windows WEI.
Overall Review: I use 8g of A-DATA gaming memory and the default voltage let me overclock to 1600mhz whit no change. Using also a gtx 460 overclock for gaming an a very nice case the XION Predator whit a aditional fan 200mm from coolermaster. I'm using the I5 2500K My PSU is a ANTEC earthwatt 650 P.S. Get this board, ECS is now welcome in my quality brand list.
