Pros: Great little drive powered by single USB cable. Drive is fairly fast (read and write speed). I purchased it as a back up drive and like a similar drive from Seagate that filled up quickly. The Seagate backup software let's the drive fill up. I don't know about de-duplication and compression so I am using this drive with a third party application. I was hoping to find something similar to Apple Time Machine. If you want a reliable drive, this is a good drive to have on hand.

EPC provides outstanding customer service and wants their customers to be satisfied with the product. I purchased a Grade A refurbished laptop (minor surface scratches), but I received a laptop that was dirty around the keys and the screen was never cleaned. Additionally, the case had more than minor scratches. It looked like it had never been refurbished. Upon being contacted, EPC via their 30 day refund policy allowed me to return the laptop. EPC shows great integrity and stands behind the products they sell. Definitely worth looking at their products. Quality and your satisfaction are their goals.
