WoW what an upgrade
Pros: Outstanding performance for only $104 when i bought it.
Cons: Had to upgrade my PSU as well....if your PSU came with your case you "may" need to upgrade well. Lightweight 420w wouldnt cut it, but it was struggling prior to upgrading video..
Overall Review: Considering I went from onboard 6100 graphics this card is absolutely stunning. Newegg rocks!
Cheap repair board
Pros: Cheap replacement for a failing board Cheaper than upgrading to AM2 Great features for board of this particular generation
Cons: DOA Time wasted disassembling old system Time reassembling old system to at least web surf with Money spent returning RMA Weekend spent waiting for monday to actually return it
Overall Review: Super fast shipping from Newegg Took a chance considering the review history and got burned. Would I buy Pc Chips boards again....not likely, but if I needed a replacement cheap and the alternatives were next to nonexistent I would. Ordered some DDR2 last week for future upgrade....guess what next week is....Future.
Been great until recently
Pros: Was really fast all around SSD
Cons: Its not yet been 3 years of light use, stayed powered off more than powered on for the last year an half. I have to reinstall windows everytime i shut down the PC. It will not boot once its shut off.
Overall Review: No way I can recommend this, i've got HDD that still work if only they werent so old there is no way to connect them now days. Hoping newer SSD have been shelf life.
Wow, it WORKS!
Pros: It functioned as intended, wasn't super hard to teardown the laptop and replace.
Cons: I had 3 screws left over.... need to take photos before disassembling and along the way.
Overall Review: IF i had it to do over I would have taken pics of each screw before removing. I had just piled them up in different sections, result was being unable to remember exactly where each went. Trail and error found all but 3..
Does what I expected it to do
Pros: Smoothed out games, no longer choppy game play. WoW went from a stuttering 19 fps on the on board 4250 graphics to averaging 90fps and only dropping to lo/mid 40's(in raids) with settings somewhere between High and Ultra. Met the required power restrictions of my current setup.(R7s too much required without an PSU upgrade)
Cons: $109 when purchased
Overall Review: All in all I wouldn't mind buying another for my system, this was for my Dads. Older 550w PSU, but not so old to not have the 6pin pcie connector. FX4300, asrock 880GM-LE FX, 4GB gskill 1600. Really snappy system from what it used to be.
Love XFX, BUT..
Pros: LOTS of connections, large fans, stable wattage.
Cons: LOTS OF WIRES, died after only 3 months an 10 days
Overall Review: Considering the 5 yr warranty I hoping this doesnt drive me nuts getting service considering it has an internal failure(something inside it fried by the smell coming from it) Wasnt present when it failed so i dont know if there was smoke or not. I leave my pc on 24/7 unless its storming
