Pros: Perfect for my macbook! I honestly haven't noticed any difference in noise or vibration since I added it , just a lot more space.

Cons: Nothing at all.

Overall Review: I had a hard time finding an enclosure for this drive on newegg that would go with this drive, I ended up going with the APRICORN EZ-UP-S 2.5" USB 2.0 External Enclosure but it was horribly slow. Once I got the drive in the computer though it's been nothing but perfect.

Pros: It worked with my macbook out of the box. I give it a two just for getting the job done.

Cons: I bought this with my 160GB hard drive that I love, but when I was backing up my old hard drive it literally took 12 hours to back up almost 30 gigs. It was painfully slow. I tested the same process on other hard drives in other enclosures and other hard drives in this enclosure. All the hard drives in this enclosure took forever. Also, way too pricey and cheaply built!!

Overall Review: At the time new egg only had about 4 or 5 possible usb 2.0 sata enclosures and I think two of them didn't work with a 160gb drive, and the other had a bad review about not working with a mac, so this seemed to be my only choice.

Pros: I bought the SATA version of this drive for my macbook, then when it came to upgrade my dell inspiron laptop, the choice was easy. It's the perfect laptop drive really fast and really quiet and installation took minutes. Couldn't be happier.

Overall Review: Only wished they made a 200GB version.
