Pros: The device is small, compact, and provides a small loop hole for attaching to a laynard. The device is also incredibly fast - when it actually works. The device was a gift, so I didn't have to pay for it.

Cons: The device started to slow down after the first week of use. Then it just locked up - no response when read by any of my computers. Reformatted and the device worked fine again - for about a week. Now when I plug it in each computer I have tested it on reads it as a card reader with no removable media for some reason. Tried to go to PNY's support site but it's pretty useless.

Overall Review: If it actually worked this thing could be a life saver. I backed up a ton of work files to it (that, subsequently, got zapped each time the device went down). Now, I'm so frustrated with it I'm thinking of taking a mallet to it for some momentary satisfaction. If you're looking for a large capacity USB I'd choose another model.
