well built

Pioneer VSX-821-K 5.1-Channel 3D Ready A/V Receiver
Pioneer VSX-821-K 5.1-Channel 3D Ready A/V Receiver

Pros: Well built, quality is surprisingly outstanding. I got it for 218 dollars. I was going to get the VSX-521 but this one was cheaper. I haven't used the iPod feature. I use a Windows phone and have an Xbox so I've never needed an IOS. I have it hooked up to an Xbox and a Sony blu-ray BDP-S480 thru a Sharp 60" and it looks awesome. Ss-B1000s on the rear SS-F6000Ps on the front and an SS-CN5000 in the center. SA-W2500 for a sub. Once I thoroughly read the book and found all the settings I liked, I liked it much more. I went to this from an RCA RT2280 which was 500w but couldn't play blu-ray audio so i put all this together. So many equalizer and surround settings. The pioneer sounds best on EXTstereo and auto surround. I was stuck between this and a Yamaha of equal features but the pioneer line was ranked better. I wanted Polk speakers but the Sony's were much cheaper. I haven't owned Polk but I got such a good deal on the Sony's from Circuit City I don't care.

Cons: None, setup was easy. I did the MCACC worked fine haven't tried setting the speakers manually sounds fine to me. Although I did adjust the db on the front channels.

Overall Review: Runs very cool. And its shiny.

Huge and a Pain!!

MASSCOOL 7WA001 90mm Ball CPU Cooler
MASSCOOL 7WA001 90mm Ball CPU Cooler

Pros: Very durable..looks cool

Cons: Real pain to install..so big i couldn't get it to fit in my xclio case. very loud. i had the mounts mounted on the copper base three different ways because i didn't think it was seating correctly or tight enough, before i just put my cheapy reliable 13 dollar syba back on. I've got a zalman on the way.

Overall Review: This is my 4th build, I only display my build so you know what I'm dealing with. When everybody else does it helps me when i choose a new product and you can see if certain products work with others..Thanks Asus p5n-d mobo syba 92mm heatsink Intel Celeron dual-core E3200 2.4Ghz Oc'd to 3.25Ghz 2 Evga 9800GTX+ SLI Raidmax 730w 4GB 800mhz ram oc'd 900mhz (G.Skill 2x2GB) 3 250GB Seagate Baracudas in Raid5 1 WD Caviar 320GB Sata LG DVD Burner (IDE)

RAIDMAX HYBRID 2 RX-730SS 730W ATX12V V2.2/ EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready Modular Power Supply, New Version with Build-in LED Fan On/Off Switch

Pros: Had a 530ss and needed more power for SLI. But i had no troubles at all with the 530 and haven't so far with this one.

Cons: none

Nice new case

XCLIO A380COLOR Fully Black 1.0 mm SECC / ABS Plastic ATX Full Tower Computer Case
XCLIO A380COLOR Fully Black 1.0 mm SECC / ABS Plastic ATX Full Tower Computer Case

Pros: Moves alot of air, pretty quiet, very large. lots of expansion bays. already has built in fan controller and changes colors to suit your build and internals. Vented on the side and the top and it moves so much air there is always air coming out of the vents. Comes with many extra parts even leds!!! Tooless assembly but they tighten the cover screws so tight at the factory you will need a screwdriver.

Cons: Even though this thing is huge the side fan is still quite thick and a huge heatsink will still not fit. I got a Masscool heatsink and it wouldn't close because of the fan. Keep that in mind. Its great that the fans are huge and move more air because they are bigger and they are more quiet because they move that air at less rpm...But the front fan is pushing through a what looks like a 120mm hole. not a big deal but i may hog some holes out around it in the future. Once again this thing is huge have plenty of space for it. I have an old Sony 27" trinitron sitting next to it and its about the same hieght. The usb leads are a little short hard to hide if at all hideable.

Overall Review: This is my 4th build. I got this to expand. My old case was a thermaltake M9 and i liked it but it only had 3 hd bays. And with these long 9800gtxs i needed the space. but don't be fooled you can fill any case once you start filling it. EVGA GeForce 9800 GTX+ 512MB DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Video Card 512-P3-N871-AR

Pros: I've had this about a year. Awesome card runs nfs shift at full settings. Wouldn't run undercover on full settings at least in xp. Can play crisis in high settings, not maxed though. I run a hanspree 22" at 1680 x 1050...and had a 19 on here too. now just a 14 but never too much for it. great for dual monitor setup. never any troubles Great for overclocking i did some tests but i think i was running out of power with my supply. Like it so much I have another on the way to build with SLI. only has one power plug unlike the plain gtx.

Cons: long...long...i had to move my hard drives up 3 spaces in this mid case to make way.
