Worth It

Pros: Obviously easy to install Jump from 3GB to 8GB allows me to play America's Army 3.2 on my laptop. Windows Experience Index jumped from 5.5 to 7.1 which is now my highest I haven't tested to see if I get any extra battery life having 1.35 vs 1.50 Volt. Programs do generally load faster. Windows Office loads in 1.5 seconds. (Usually 4-10) Haven't installed Photoshop yet. I have yet to figure out how I can force my Mobility Radeon HD 4200 to use more of the RAM in my laptop. Max is 256mb right now. I wish I could set it to around 2GB. My motherboard recognized the ram right away. CPU-Z reports 8192 MB of Ram. NB Frequency: 1795mhz [] DRAM Freq: 532mhz [] FSB:DRAM: 3:8 [] CAS Latency (CL): 7.0 Clocks [] RAS to CAS Delay :7 Clocks [] RAS Precharge: 7 Clocks [] Cycle Time (tRAS) : 20 Clocks [] Bank Cycle Time (tRC): 27 Clocks [] Command Rate (CR) : 1T Also shows the ram being PC3 10700 (667 mhz). (Dual Channel) 1334 mhz combined.
Cons: I can't find a con at this time.
Overall Review: Wish I could attribute more of the 8GB towards my integrated video card. This isn't a con to the ram because its NOT the rams fault. Anytime your adding to your total ram the increased performance will outweigh the lower performance of 1.35 volt vs 1.50. Everything seems quicker with the 8GB of ram. Don't be scared to buy 1.35 volt ram. Lower voltage ram will usually always work if the motherboard is using 1.50 volt to begin with. I bought it and I don't have any problems.
EPIC Fail!

Pros: The speakers are stable when set up.
Cons: Lets start with the FACT that I own older Altec Lansing Speakers (BX1121). I have BOTH plugged in and I can listen to both of them. The sound is mediocre, and the sub is not that great. One major flaw to this is with the Altec Lansing BX1121 (I currently have and tried to replace because of a short in the cable) is that the power from the wall goes into the speakers first, then you have a cable running from the speakers to the subwoofer. The Sub is weak. The MOST major flaw to this junk is that it doesn't have a headphone jack/entension cable, or ANYTHING to allow you to use Headphones. This to me is what brings it down to 3 eggs (from 5) The sound is horrible compared to the BX1121 (Same company, which brought it down another egg). After reading another review about not having the sub on the carpet (which I have) I moved the speakers/sub to a smooth floor, it sounded worse.
Overall Review: I would rather hunt for another set of BX1121 somewhere on google (new) and pay 25-30 bucks then keep these for 25. (I bought em at w-mart, not newegg). Stay away if you want decent speakers for 25. These speakers should be priced at 10-15 dollars. In fact, now that I think about it, I think my BX1121 speakers sound like 50-70 dollar speakers (Got em for $25 bucks at w-mart a couple years ago). Oh a few more things. No headphone jack, no AUX jack, no bass/treble adjustments, sound is worse, bass is less powerful all for the same price for the newer model to my older BX1121's. FAIL FAIL FAIL FAIL FAIL. Who designs computer speakers without a headphone jack?!?!?! I know of LCD monitors with speakers that have headphone jacks. To me, this is what makes it 1 egg. Sorry Altec Lansing....I was giving your newer model a chance because of how well your BX1121's served me...but you EPICALLY FAILED with this model.
Interesting

Pros: The Bass is AMAZING. The bass is very clear in most songs. The Price was cheap...It was on sale for over 50% off. The price was right for these buds. The normal price is $40 here at the egg. So what I paid was right for me to keep them. BEFORE reading the Cons and Other thoughts keep in mind I like the JVC Earbuds...but they will now be my backups. ALSO like I said earlier they were PERFECT for the Price. I dont think they are worth the full price.
Cons: This isn't Neweggs fault but the price of these compared to Sennheiser CX 300-II's....I'll take the Sennheisers please. The sound clarity of the JVC's aren't as clear. They ALSO dont get AS loud as the CX300s. Thats where the Sensitivity comes in (in dB's. CX300s are like 112-113db, these are 103db) Also the cord length is always a little tooo short with JVC earbuds.
Overall Review: I overall like the earbuds but I wouldn't spend over $25 for them. I bought Sennheiser CX 300-II's at a local suncoast/F.Y.E. store. They were $29.99 (2 days after I ordered these.) I have a headphone splitter and even though it cuts down the volume I can still compare them both. I tested it with A Milli by Lil Wayne and some other christian rap artists. News Flash by Flame, Limelight by Flame, Shut Em Down by Pro, Croatian Rhapsody and Claudine by Huljic (played by Maksim), Sarabande by Handel (played by Maksim). Iris by Goo Goo Dolls, What Hurts The Most by Rascal Flatts, Mad by Neyo, and Clubbed To Death by Rob D. I tried to play as much varied music as possible. The Sennheiser CX300's are just BETTER. I gave it 4 Eggs because I compared them to the CX300's. The CX300's are now the best earbuds I have EVER owned. I have owned a $125 dollar pair of Altec Lansings, $40 dollar Sony's, $20 JVC Marshmellows, $25 Koss Earbuds, $10 Sony Sports Lightweight, I've had my share of earbuds.
