Pros: The remote is slim and I can barely feel it in my pocket when I am working and allows me to skip songs, change folders, adjust the volume, etc. It also has an easy on/off button with a small green light that blinks when it receives a signal from the remote. It has an AUX cable port on the back which I have not used because I do not have the need. I have only used the AC power cord, so I cannot speak to the batter life but the manual does state it will not charge your iPhone/iPod when on battery power. The handle is nice and acts like a guide when docking my iPhone and makes it much easier to carry. Bottom Line: I would definitely recommend this speaker dock to family and friends. I also plan on purchasing another for my brother.
Cons: The remote is small and there is nowhere to store it on the speaker box. I put a small piece of velcro on the back of the remote to now attach it to the side when not in use, a simple fix. The AC power cord does have a considerable size plug on it, but I have not had any issues with it.
Overall Review: Purchased on a whim because I had a discount and have been looking on and off for an iPhone dock for about a year now. Currently use it as a portable speaker for my iPhone while doing house projects and working outside. I have been pleasantly surprised with the clarity and volume of the unit.
