Cons: I bought this converter to upgrade my Sega Saturn to hdmi quality through a scart cable but the converter does not recognize the RBG signal and is only broadcasting in composite mode (rca cable quality). The manual that came in the box states that it is RBG capable.
Overall Review: Waste of time and money. Will try to contact seller for refund or exchange.
Pros: I hooked up my component cables from a multi unit that has my wii and original xbox and it works great.
Cons: Could not get it to work with my ps2 no matter how it was connected (direct or from splitter). I dont know if the component cables from the ps2 dont have enough signal but it just would not work.
Pros: Good value. Cheap to upgrade ram.
Cons: Came with bad hard disk. Contacted Newegg and requested a new hd with restore disk since restore partition corrupted and I was unable to make restore disk. They claimed to forward my information but 5 days later no response. Now its over a month. Newegg is has always been good with addressing issues but this one goes unaddressed. Anyone care to finally call me back?
Overall Review: I have worked as a tech so its a quick fix, if they would just send me the part and discs. Laptop looks like new so I dont want to send it back and risk getting one that may be scratched and have other issues. Would give more eggs if customer service would actually address the issue.
Pros: You can add a external hard drive and have tons of room for additional games. No need to open the unit. Backwards compatibility with select 360 games.
Cons: After looking online and trying several solutions I finally got Netflix to work by changing the hdmi port the system was plugged into. Do not know why I had this issue and how changing the port would fix it but it was a pain. Also, had to change the sound otherwise I could not hear what was being said in Halo 5. Had to download a gig of updates right out to the box and Halo needed a 18 gig update before I could even begin playing.
Overall Review: After everything was done I was generally happy with the system. Have a ps4 also which was a lot easier to set up. Changed the hard disk in 5 minutes and user setup was a snap with no issues. The big difference between the 2 is the backwards compatibility. I like having this option available and it was one of the factors in getting this system.
Pros: 30 bucks was my selling point. So far works great and getting better speed and range than my 5 year old Lynksys.
Cons: Configuration could be easier but if you have some knowledge of routers you won't have a problem. If you don't set up could be tricky.
Overall Review: On sale for 30 bucks you can't go wrong. Good speed and range, worth the money.
Pros: Before i even plugged it in i took out the hard drive and upgraded it to a western digital black drive. Very easy to upgrade. Took about 15 minutes.
Cons: Not much in the PlayStation store compared to the Ps3 selection. Also the drive I removed was a Toshiba hard drive. Really? Toshiba hard drives stink. Glad I upgraded right off the bat to a much faster, more reliable, larger drive. If you happen to have one lying around use it.
Overall Review: It was the deal i wanted ahead of black friday. Sony should reconsider using such low quality hard drives.
Pros: I use these with my htc sv one that has beats audio and they are crystal clear. I love them and would highly recommend them.
Cons: They are a little bulky
Overall Review: For the price you are getting a great deal. If you want great headphones without breaking the bank these are a steal.
Pros: Much smaller, better cooling, and quiet. I have a Model 1 which had to be sent back when I got the red ring of death. I had purchased a extended warranty and 2 months before it was to expire i had to send it back and wait a month for it to return. I flashed a wd hard drive for this unit and bought the tray online for 5 bucks and now have a 500 gig 360. Newegg had a great deal which included 60 bucks in xbox money so i purchases some great items off the live site.
Cons: None. Works great!
Overall Review: Although the Xbox One is out the 360 is a great buy and there is a huge library of games you can get on the cheap.
Pros: A big improvement over the failed drive i took out of my dell laptop. Laptop is running much faster. L:ast drive was damaged when I dropped my laptop.
Cons: I have read that this drive runs hot but I always use a cooling pad anyway so thats not a issue for me.
Overall Review: I highly recommend this as a replacement especially since they seem to be on sale often and when they are they are the same price as a blue drive which runs at 5400.
Pros: High transfer rates with usb 3.0.
Cons: None so far.
Overall Review: This is the second Seagate drive I have purchased and i havent had any issues.
Pros: cheap price
Cons: i have bought memorex dvd-r and dvd+r with the same results with movies. skipping skipping skipping. now im using them for data storage. i have bought different brands but never had the problems i have with memorex products. junk. i use the generic r_data dvd+r with great results everytime.
Pros: works well with my acer laptop, my desktop, and blackberry phone
Cons: had to call my friend who is a networking tech after 3 days of not being connected to the net. flashed to ddwrt no problem. this router is not user friendly with ddwrt. you have to know what you are doing or your in for a lot of trouble. i went and set up my friends network in 45 minutes connecting his wireless printer, laptop and desktop so i know what im doing but i couldnt get this working without real help. my old dell laptop cant keep connected for some reason.
Overall Review: its a great price for a router but if your not savy i would stay away from this product. i thought i was and i surrendered! i have a old netg_@r router that lasted me many years that is definitely more user friendly but i heard so many good things about this router and it was low in price i decided to get it.
Pros: i have a dell e1505 that boots much faster and allows me to work multiple apps without the slowdown i had before. price was great and install quick and easy. laptop works now as well as when i first got it. 1 gig to 2 gigs makes a big difference.
Cons: i had to return another set that newegg claimed were compatiable that were also corsair ram. newegg thankfully gave me no grief when i told them i got the blue screen of death after installing that set. i had picked up another laptop for 300 not realizing how cheap i could get the ram from newegg.
Overall Review: if your installing this ram i suggest going to the dell site and upgrading your bios to the latest firmware. i had the v6 and upgraded to v17!
Cons: cheap. i have used ritek and ridata dvdr + without a single coaster after several hundred burns, but after buying these im stuck with movies that stop and skip constantly. im going back to the ridata and ritek.
Comments: pc card wg511 software needs updating off the bat to version 2 otherwise it wont work. after that everything works well. thats why i only gave it a 4.
Comments: works fine for me. i was using a pioneer a03 which i flashed to the latest firmware and it still didnt seem to work right. could burn at 2x with it unless i used the pioneer approved (expensive) media. with the nec it burns ritek g03 perfectly at 2x. will see how well at 4x with ritek g04. cant go wrong for the price if you already have the programs to burn with. didnt need to flash the firmware of the nec (manufactured nov 2003). as for the person further down this list who can only burn at 2x, it may be because of the media he is using. will see.
Comments: http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduct.asp?submit=manufactory&manufactory=1423&catalog=57&DEPA=1&sortby=14&order=1

$79 is the best price you can get for this XXXXXXXXXXXX. seen it at XXXXXXXXX for as high as $129. really enhances the look of the pc and provides great sound. i dont care what the manual says, if you want better sound you do need a decent sound card. noticed a big difference when i upgraded to a soundblaster audigy 2 from a soundblaster live value card. only one thing to complain about and that is the flimsy stereo cables. went to my local XX and bought sheilded cables for $4 and they got rid of the cracking and poping noises that occured when in pc mode. other than that its a great item.
