Just as fast or faster than 10k SataII
Pros: Great drive. Installed as main Win 7 drive on the Gigabyte X58A-UD3R, which supports SATAIII. Also have a Velociraptor 300db 10k drive. SiSoft specs this 7200 higher in data throughput than the velociraptor, but the velociraptor beat it in seak time by about 3ms... Can't wait for 10k drives with SataIII
Cons: None yet.
Colors are nice, lots of problems - but what do you expect for a >$10 product
Pros: Colors are bright and good range of color options
Cons: Lights will not stay stuck to any surface for long, constantly have to reapply. The remote's colors are wrong, the columns to not reflect the right colors at all. Red is Green, Green is Blue, Blue is Red, White is at least White USB cable length is pretty short.
Overall Review: Meh - I'm sure there are much better products on the market. Want to spend under 10, go for it. Cheaper than starbucks, but lasts about as long.
2 Defective Drives in a Row
Pros: eSata support???
Cons: Had two drives die within 2 hours of use. Using the eSata portion of the drive. DO NOT RECOMMEND! Now have spent $20 in shipping back to NewEgg... not happy, need reliable drives for backup.
Overall Review: Used to use fantom for a while, then switched to Gtech, wanted to try out Fantom again, well guess what - back to Gtech!
Does not Support all cards
Pros: Supports Compact Flash, SD, xD microSD and UDMA, Cannot attest to transfer rates or stability, sent back due to not supporting Smart Media (which is all I needed)
Cons: DOES NOT SUPPORT SMART MEDIA!!!
Durable and Sleak
Pros: Great little thumb drive - perfect for large transfers... Very rough and durable - feels solid.
Cons: none
Overall Review: Comes with nifty case....
