Works great! have used it 3 months now...
Pros: * I hate wearing watches and bracelets - but this is very comfortable! Doesn't scratch or hang up on my keyboard or laptop, very light and works even when it's not very snug. * The charge does last a long time - but it does depend on the settings - especially how often it checks your heart rate. The more often it checks your heart rate, the more accurate the readings are, but it can reduce how long the charge lasts. I usually charge it every couple of weeks, just so I don't forget. And it doesn't take long to fully charge. * I love that I can set it to vibrate when I get phone calls, texts, and FB Messenger notes. I usually have my phone with me, but don't always hear/feel it's notifications. * Oh, and when I am wearing the MiFit2, it automatically unlocks my phone. * I like the reminder to "get up and walk" every hour - especially at work, I get so absorbed that hours go by and I'm still sitting. Talking a little walk, even around the building, clears my head and improves my circulation. * The silicon bracelets come in a variety of colors and patterns, I got a set of 6 very inexpensively online. There are also higher-end bracelets in metal and leather online as well. * You can set a few alarms - it will vibrate every 10 minutes until you turn it off. I set it for the same time as my cell phone's morning alarm - I almost never sleep through the vibration!
Cons: * It's hard to read in the sunlight, even when I hold my hand over it for shade. * I wish it would notify me of calendar events; if it does, I haven't figured out how to do it.
Overall Review: * I originally got this as a simple step counter and it really fills that role. I'm trying to become more active, and this has certainly helped! Everything in the "Pros" section was icing on the cake! * Most of the "mainstream" big name fitbits are much more expensive. This inexpensive unit does what I need. The only downside it that there are not many programs that can auto-connect with the MiFit2, but that hasn't been a big problem for me.
