Incredible 4 Slot Expansion SATA Card!!!

MASSCOOL PCI Card, 4 internal SATA Model XWT-RC040
MASSCOOL PCI Card, 4 internal SATA Model XWT-RC040

Pros: This is a PCI Card Serial ATA Rev. 1 with 4x SATA ports! Supports ATAPI devices great if you planning on adding DVD or any ROM Drives! Not to mention the price is just right... i bought Item#: N82E16815158090 for $120.00 and this card does more that the high priced one ( i have it sitting on my self collecting dust until i find a use for it).

Cons: I had a terrible time installing this card with the drivers supplied. I ended up finally installing the drivers and getting this card to read all 4 DVD/BR drives i added to my system after i downloaded the most recent and compatible drivers for WIN 7 64bit, going into the BIOS and resetting the PNP resource data. In the end this card is working just fine and im burning DVDS 5 at a time with 4 ROMs on this card and 1 on my mother board... also this package only come with 2 SATA cables... you would think if you selling a 4x SATA card you would include enough cables for 4 devices...

Overall Review: Don't let my installation stor turn you away from buying this card since i have a complicated and maxed out system you might find yourself installing the drivers just fine.

Does Not Support Optical Drives! 4 Port SATA II PCI Express x4 Card Model PEXSATA24E 4 Port SATA II PCI Express x4 Card Model PEXSATA24E

Pros: Great card if your wanting to add 4 SATA ports, Supports SATA II up to 300GBs, supports raid 1 and 0...

Cons: For the price this card is going for and it does not support optical drives... pathetic... i got this card strictly to add 4 DVD/BR to my system and it took my to call tech support at to tell me that this card does not support optical drives... WOW also it does have support for RAID 1 & 0, but like i said before for the price of this card... you would think it would support 5 & 10... i would have kept this card if it supported 5 &10 and moved all my HDs to this card and put my optical drives on the mother broad, but it does not -_-

Overall Review: IF YOU ARE PLANNING ON ADDING OPTICAL DRIVES USING THIS CARD turn away! i am freeing up my PCI slot and getting this card... Item#: N82E16815280003

Ergotron Neo-Flex Underdesk Keyboard Arm 27w x 9d Black 97582009
Ergotron Neo-Flex Underdesk Keyboard Arm 27w x 9d Black 97582009

Pros: -solid design -fluid motion -fits full size keyboard and mouse w/pad -mounting hardware and tools included -easy install

Cons: -heavy -keyboard tray is the weakest part (plastic). would have liked to see them use a lightweight aluminum or similar.

Overall Review: Bought this as an under the desk solution for a couple workstations. It does mention the max desktop thickness allowed is 1.500" and knowing that I was going to shave off .250" from the table top. However, when I received this tray, I determined (IMO) that the front clamp is optional and used mostly to reinforce the assembly. I used 4 screws to mount this under the desk and it is not going anywhere.

G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 24GB (6 x 4GB) DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9T2-24GBRL
G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 24GB (6 x 4GB) DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9T2-24GBRL

Pros: 24gigs, rated at 1600mhz and awesome red heatsincks! So far they are running just like they should... very pleased!

Cons: Unfortunantly i had a horrible experiance installing this ram into my system... my first initial order i ended up RMA for the same issue i had with the new ram they sent me... When i first installed the ram my computer would lock up during the boot process and i could not access the BIOS. After taking a break from scratching my head trying to think what could be wrong i ended up stripping them all out and booting up with 1 stick in and it worked ok... in fact as soon as i would add 4 or more sticks of ram it would lock up... i then put back in my old ram to make sure and my old ram worked fine... so i did some more reasearch and decided to update my BIOS... If i didnt have such a hard time finding the correct bios file to flash i would have wasted my time flashing 3 different bios files that during one of the flash process i though i ruined my PC... they should be more clear on the bios versions... because of all this headache i give 4 stars =/

Overall Review: I what to appologize to newegg because the original RAM i sent back for RMA probably wasnt bad at all... but trouble shooting is a check off the list proccess... because i had the same problem with both RAM newegg sent me i figured that it could not be the RAM... so it did help in the proccess... i just probably should have done a more thoughough check before i jumped to the conclusion that it was bad RAM... i was just so sure at the time because i originally had 6 2gig stick of ram so i thought by putting 6 4gig sticks of RAM it should just be a plug and play proccess... ihope this help anybody that should have a same or similar problem when buying this or any brand name RAM... i forgot that they allow for video upload... ill take a video of my next install/upgradde to my pc...

Western Digital Scorpio Blue WD10TPVT 1TB 5200 RPM 8MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 2.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive
Western Digital Scorpio Blue WD10TPVT 1TB 5200 RPM 8MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 2.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive

Pros: If you are looking for more space, then I would recommend this drive. I have had this drive for over a year know and still squeezing files into it... i just recently archived all my old data to my server freeing up some space for some up and coming projects...

Cons: With mainly working with video editing, rendering, and Photoshop manipulation (with mid-heavy game-play on my breaks) i found this drive to be, not laggy, but sluggish... comparing it to my original (600Gb 5400rpm that i upgraded from). although knowingly i was dropping down to 5200rpm with this 1Tb i did not expect to see for feel such a drastic drop in performance... maybe it is because this drive is almost 2 times as big as my original that the 200rpm difference is noticed so vividly... also being this drive is 1T it it has a thick body... i was able to squeeze it into my Sony VPCF126FM with having to machine my own bracket for it... so keep that in mind if you don't have much space in your drive bay on your laptop already... i don't think this drive will fit into most PCs...

Overall Review: i gave this drive 3/4 when really it should deserve 4/5 because of its quality and reliability throughout the time i have had it in my laptop... but i am sticking with the 3/5 because i just was not that impressed with the speed and performance of the drive and ended up switching back to my old 600Gb with the space that i was able to free up... with that said i would recommend this drive to a friend that is maybe going to use this drive as a backup or archiving files for like an external... you know i guess it would be too much to ask for slender, fast, and large capacity all bundled up into one unit... i know it will be there one day... probably in a solid state drive too =)
