WOW!1/6/2014 9:31:33 AM

Pros: Quality of the panel is outstanding. Screen real estate is outstanding. Fit and finish is outstanding. Replaced a Dell 27" 1440P monitor (U2713HM) . Used the same DP to Mini DP cable I had connected to the previous monitor with no issues. Must enable DP 1.2 for 60Hz. Using with Gigabyte AMD HD 7870. After enabling DP 1.2 on the monitor, you must create an nVidia surround or AMD eyefinity display group. After that the monitor worked at 60Hz with no problems. Color calibration is phenomenal. Blacks are extremely deep and the provided color profiles ( I prefer sRGB) are absolutely perfect. This is the best monitor I have ever used. Period.

Cons: The Price. But hell, it's a professional monitor. The 7870 I have will only drive ONE of these monitors. If I connect another display, the resolution on the UP3214Q drops AND/OR the second display is not detected (limitation of the card, not the monitor).

Take back my review4/8/2011 3:11:49 PM

Pros: Cheap. But you get what you pay for.

Cons: Consistently causes Windows to BSOD...Card emits a very loud annoying beep right before it crashes the whole system. Support, or lack there of, is useless. No phone support, and useless online support. Dont buy it.

Good Card4/8/2011 8:25:52 AM

Pros: Using it with 4 3TB Western Digital drives (RAID 5) and 2 Western Digital Raptors (RAID 0). Works great for the money and added bonus for 3TB drive compatibility. Fast data transfers. Easy to use Web GUI for monitoring and RAID Controller maintenance.

Cons: Not compatible when used in a system with Intel RAID configured, must use IDE or AHCI mode. Gets really hot. Takes a LONG time to boot.

Works for Me!5/19/2007 9:35:04 PM

Pros: Plugs right in, works great...Must be because i am using a real computer...aka a PC. Just goes to show you that the PC wins yet again. Its fast, easy, works on both XP and Vista flawlessly.

Cons: Its a little big, but i guess thats what that name says. "Big Disk"

Overall Review: I would recommend it to anyone who needs that much space.

Blu-Ray12/25/2006 2:59:11 PM

Pros: Excellent picture quallity. Beautiful picture, without a doubt the best picture you will ever see in high deffinition provided you have a 1080P capible display. Sound quallity is excelent.

Cons: Like any first generation product it will have bugs. Load times are a bit long. Whats called the "Pop up menu" will occasionally lag. Some special features refuse to play. But lets not forget what the first gen DVD players were like. Not horrible, but it is what to be expected from a first generation player.

Overall Review: I love this player. It makes me mad occasionally when it laggs or has disc compatibillity errors. But like I said before, first generation DVD players are not what we have today. I would recommened this or HD-DVD to anyone wanting a high deffinition cinema quallity expireience. I noticed no picture quallity differance from HD DVD to Blu-Ray. So eather ot will give you a great picture. Just be prepared for some inconvinences.
