Best 970 but requires work
Pros: This card is fast the way it comes. The new firestorm allows for voltage up to 1.26 volts. The power limit on this card is the highest due to the 2 8 pinns which in turn will in turn allow you to push it the farthest.
Cons: Now for the bad news. The stock bios is very locked down and is severely limited due to this. The firestorm software is the only software for increasing voltages right now and for me it causes crashes at much lower overclocks than I can achieve in other software. Once the bios is modded to allow more power it is able to be pushed harder and will be limited by voltage or temps rather than power. The tim on the card also isn't the best but I swap that out right away anyway so I can't give you a max but the temps now stay under 70 celsius without issue at 1.5 ghz core and 7900 mem while still pushing it.
Overall Review: If Zotac ever releases a better bios than this card will destroy till then it will be bios modding to make this bad boy work the way i'd expect.
670 Best GPU for the money
Pros: Very efficient and runs very cool. Battlefield 3 stays at a constant 60 fps with the occasional dip to high 50's.
Cons: None besides that I wish the EVGA logo that is next to the power adapter lit up but that's just me complaining.
Overall Review: Between the 660 Ti and this I would could this again. The memory speeds thanks to the 256 buffer are just so much better when playing games that need it.
