Very satisfying!

EVGA GeForce 9800 GTX+ 512MB DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Video Card 512-P3-N871-AR
EVGA GeForce 9800 GTX+ 512MB DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Video Card 512-P3-N871-AR

Pros: This card runs every game that I have tried thus far with every video setting cranked all the way up and it runs them without a problem! I'm VERY happy with this card!

Cons: A tad big, just barely fit in my Antec mid-tower case!

Overall Review: Make sure you install the EVGA precision software. It's definitely worth it. It allows you to manually crank up the fanspeak onboard the card. It defaults to an automatic setting. Crank it up to 100, it's not that much louder, or I must be deaf. (Download from EVGA's website, free registration required)

Nice for a first timer

Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 - Core 2 Duo Wolfdale Dual-Core 3.0 GHz LGA 775 65W Processor - BX80570E8400
Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 - Core 2 Duo Wolfdale Dual-Core 3.0 GHz LGA 775 65W Processor - BX80570E8400

Pros: Very quick CPU. I am extremely satisfied. Using it for Adobe Premiere work and some games on the side (Armed Assault, Planetside, COD4). Nothing but satisfaction!

Cons: The included heatsink gave me some problems at first while securing it to the motherboard. Ensure that all 4 attachment points are 100% secure before turning on the computer! I freaked when I saw the CPU temp at 215 F!

Overall Review: My first time building myself an intel machine.

Perfect

ICY DOCK MB453SPF-B 3 in 2 SATA I, II & III Hot-Swap Internal Backplane Raid Cage Module
ICY DOCK MB453SPF-B 3 in 2 SATA I, II & III Hot-Swap Internal Backplane Raid Cage Module

Pros: Hot swap. Very useful and functional indicator lights. Solid cooling fan (and easily replaceable in the event of failure). Trays are easy to work with.

Cons: I'd like the trays to be made of a little more solid construction.

Overall Review: Used in a "mission critical" home server with 3 disks on RAID 5. Now I don't chew my fingernails in fear of a disk failing and having to shut down the box to replace it. I can just hot swap it!

No complaints

Western Digital Blue WD800JD 80GB 7200 RPM 8MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive
Western Digital Blue WD800JD 80GB 7200 RPM 8MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive

Pros: Solid transfer rates. Don't get too hot. No problems.

Cons: None

Overall Review: I bought 3 to use in a HD "dock" for a home server. (Link below) Configured RAID 5. Together, they are very fast. I was booting Windows 2003 Server with Active Directory, IIS, and VMWare Server in about 20 seconds from the finish of POST to the log on screen. http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16817994026

A fine choice!

Pros: Quite simply, they work. Great price. Can't complain!

Cons: None.

Pretty solid

Antec 26" Side Rails Rackmount sliding side rails
Antec 26" Side Rails Rackmount sliding side rails

Pros: These rails are rock solid and customizeable. Fits great on Antec's 4U rackmount ATX case! Allows you to pull the case completely out of the rack while having it still on the rails so you can work on internal components without removing the computer from the rack! EASY server upgrades!

Cons: Kind of a pain to get in compared to other rails that I have worked with, but I guess that's because I did it without an extra set of hands. Would have been MUCH easier with 4 hands working on the task.

Overall Review: I wish Antec didn't put in the rear rail lock, although my lack of understanding about the pros of it being there might make me think that. I feel very comfortable knowing that my servers are sitting on these rails.
