Purchased 2 for a PlayStation 3 Fat and Slim.. So far so good..
Pros: I purchased 2 of these for both of my PlayStation 3 consoles.. The system booted up normally after I downloaded and installed 4.10 through a flash drive. I chose to format with the full option, which took 58 hours to complete. Once everything completed, both PS3's booted up fine and displayed a total capacity of 930GB each. However there was only 830GB free out of that total, which I assume is the certain percentage reserved for the operating system, updates, patches and so on.. So for all of you wondering if you can stuff these babies into your PS3, the answer is yes! I can confirm both the Fat and Slim PS3's HDD caddys accept these 1TB drives perfectly!
Cons: None as of yet.. {Knock on wood} Other than 100GB+ vanishing for reserved system files.. Just a heads up for everyone!
The best value Intel 12th gen and NVIDIA 3000 series 17" laptop available!
Overall Review: It is very difficult to find a powerful 17" laptop for a fair price and this one nailed it! The 12th gen i7-12700H is crazy fast, especially coming from a 2nd gen i7-2760QM. The price and performance differences of the i9-12900H were not justifiable; 5 - 10% faster at peak with much higher temperatures are not good in such compact spaces. I am not a huge PC gamer, so I don't need the higher Ti variants. I work mainly with Maya and Solidworks, which both run very smoothly on this setup. The Thunderbolt 4 port allows me to use this laptop on an external display along with peripherals connected through a hub. The 3060 has zero issues displaying 4K externally. This computer truly is a portable desktop replacement!
So far this HDD has plenty of space for what I need!
Pros: I ordered this HDD because I purchased a 4GB 360S and wanted to upgrade to a drive larger than the gloss 360's 250GB.. Not to mention the fact that it comes with a Lego Star Wars redeem code to download the full game! I now have enough room to install my games to my HDD, therefore decreasing load times and increasing DVD drive life expectancy!
Cons: None as of yet! {Knock on wood..} FYI: Out of the box and formatted, only 294GB is available. NBD
Great deal, how could I pass it up!?
Pros: Excellent deal, I purchased 2 so now I have 2 years of XBL ready to go!
Cons: None! Thanks NewEgg!
