Yep. It works.
Pros: I bought this so that I could connect two case fans to one CHA_FAN header on my ASRock X370 Taichi. I had forgotten that the fans were 3-pin instead of 4-pin PWM, but this splitter still does the job of providing power to both fans. Also, the braided cable has a quality feel to it, similar to the splitters that come with some Noctua fans. No real complaints here.
Cons: It added 99 cents to the total shipping cost for my order.
Reliable RAM
Pros: I purchased this RAM for a budget AMD build (ASUS M5A97 R2.0 + AMD FX-6300) that I threw together last year with minimal research. While I've since upgraded to a Ryzen system, this RAM worked reliably for the entire time that I used it.
Cons: Nearly a year and a half after I built the computer using this RAM, I discovered that the RAM had been running at lower than its rated speed. However, this was easily fixed by setting the speed manually in the BIOS. This issue isn't really a "con," since it was entirely due to my own ignorance, and it's definitely not worth deducting any points over.
Works Flawlessly with Ryzen
Pros: Runs at a stable 3200 MHz in my AMD Ryzen system (ASRock X370 Taichi, BIOS Version 3.20 + Ryzen 5 1600X) after enabling XMP in the BIOS.
Cons: None. (I wish it wasn't orange, but this was the only color on sale at the time when I bought it. I can't really complain.)
Overall Review: It's RAM that runs at its rated speed when used with a Ryzen motherboard, without requiring a lot of extra fuss. There really isn't much more worth mentioning. For future reference, any of the 16GB (2x8GB) G.Skill Trident Z or Ripjaws V DDR4 3200 CL 15 kits should run at their rated speed with Ryzen, regardless of the color scheme or lighting.
It Works...
Pros: While I used this, the computers that I worked on didn't die, so I suppose it works. It was also cheap.
Cons: None.
Solid Case and PSU Combo
Pros: My components fit inside nicely, and there's enough space for expansion. The case window is also a nice touch.
Cons: When using the front audio while a USB storage device is plugged in, I get some interference noises. Thankfully, I have a media card reader with USB ports that I use instead. Also, the rear 80mm fan is a bit on the loud side.
Overall Review: I wanted to wait a month before reviewing, just to make sure the components could last. The power supply, despite some other reviews, is still going strong.
Moves Air Nicely
Pros: My case was in dire need of additional cooling (with only one 80mm case fan), and this provides a lot of help in terms of cooling my GeForce 9500GT. I have it positioned two slots below the card, and it's moving air quite nicely.
Cons: None that I could find.
Overall Review: I'm not exactly sure how loud this blower really is, because my rear 80mm LED fan is louder than every other fan in my case. I've also got an over-the-ear headset, which helps to dampen the noise. If you're interested in this product, and you have a bit more space, I'd recommend getting the double-bracket version of this fan (the SB-F2) for a dollar more. It should provide a bit more air flow at the expense of space and noise.
