Pros: What can I say, its black, has a 120GB HDD, has a Jasper chipset, and plays all the best games! Had a PS3 for about 6 months and sold that POC to someone else. Yes, I am an Xbox fanboy - Halo rules FPS! Halo: Reach is going to be AWESOME!
Cons: Doesn't have a neural interface to plug straight into my brain! LOL!
Overall Review: I'm on the other side of 40 and love my Xbox! Thanks!
Pros: Matched this up with a Core i5 and have been pleased thus far. No problems with the system and this thing is FAST! Added G.Skill Ripjaws and WOW! No complaints.
Cons: Could always be cheaper.
Overall Review: ASUS builds a quality board and this one is no exception.
Pros: Lightning Fast!
Best Bang for Buck!
Overall Review: If your on a budget, and don't want to build AMD, this is the processor of choice. You won't be disappointed.
Pros: Used this memory to upgrade an aging Dell Dimension 4700 PC running Windows 7 with a 3.2Ghz processor. The PC is mainly used for Media Center recording and HD movie viewing. The old memory choked to death on 1080p and barely could handle 720p. Installed the new G.Skill memory and BAM! it's back to life again. Start-up in about 30 secs was amazing for this aging dinosaur and 1080p movies played without a hitch. So far this memory is excellent and my hat is off to G.Skill - a Kick*$$ product!
Cons: Took almost a week to get it! (but what do you expect for free shipping?!) LOL
Overall Review: Used G.Skill Ripjaws in an i5 build for a buddy of mine and was really impressed with it. Decided to try it out for myself and bought this highly rated older RAM. I will be giving G.Skill more business in the future.
Pros: 1. Small form factor with screen - clip it anywhere
3. Sound Quality
4. Better build than previous Clip
5. Wife loves it! (most important)
Cons: Interface is pretty much like the old Clip. Would have been nice to see an upgrade. Not really a con... just a gripe.
Overall Review: AnythingButIpod! Asked my wife if she wanted to upgrade to an Ipod. Uh, no. She loves the little Clip+ because its so easy to use when she works out.
Pros: Recorded video quality is awesome!
- viewable on any TV connected to your network
(Xbox 360 makes a great extender)
- small, inconspicuous box hides easily
- plays well with Vista MCE
- dual tuners +++
Cons: - no manual in box
- guide in Vista is a pain to set-up (mapping sucks)
- HDHomerun software is kinda weak - needs polishing
- finicky about cable connections - need quality splitter
- box gets really warm - placed near pc exhaust fan to cool
Overall Review: Even with the cons this is a freakin' amazing little box. Analog recording is dead - long live digital hi-def! Don't bother with inside tuners, get this - drudge through the set-up - be amazed!
Pros: Moves a lot of air and very quiet at low rpms. Added to Vista MCE pc to keep passive 7600GS card cool. Added fan controller is nice and looks great!
Cons: Like a jet engine at full speed but what do you expect?! Exhaust only?! Wish it came in black!
Overall Review: Well made and screams quality. If you need a good fan this is a top choice!
Pros: My old Antec 350W power supply tanked on me so I got this one for my Media Center PC. Really quiet, lots of cables, and a "can't beat it" price tag!
Cons: None. Very happy so far with the purchase.
Overall Review: Borrowed a friends new power supply till mine arrived and could barely sleep in the next room with it on. Really glad this one showed up a couple days later~! Nitey-nite.
