This is the best (*and somehow cheapest) kit of good B-die
Pros: Plain to see these are a great value
Overall Review: For comparison I have several different kits of B-die 2x2x8gb-3600c16-16-16, 4x8gb3800c14-16-16, 2x2x8gb4133c17-17-17 b-die and this is the best binned / best performing by a small margin. Runs tight 3800c13 at 24/7 volts. With a good IMC should hit 5g+.
not great
Pros: Mistakenly labeled with 5 eggs. I somehow couldn't correct. I'd give this 4 eggs. Performs as advertised - but cheaper b-die kits from other manufacturers will outperform these when overclocking. They look very nice.
Cons: I suspect there is a great deal of variability at this level of binning and there may well be outliers that will absolutely smoke - but out of the 4 I purchased - only 1 stick will run 3800c14 at normal volts (which yes I understand is asking a bit much from this level of binning). None will run stable in the 4k+ arena without unreasonable volts.
Overall Review: Decent kit that performs as advertised - but you are spinning the wheel if expecting better than decent overclocking here.
Nice Binning / Best for 1:1 Ryzen
Pros: Tight timings at normal volts
Overall Review: Good B-die kit. Among the best binned for absolute latency at every day volts / speeds.
Decent Chair / Decent Price
Pros: Good adjustability Stable
Cons: Strange ergonomics - but adjustable enough to make it work Hot / sweaty Much to wide for normal sized people
Overall Review: Fabric would be better - but - this came up for a decent price, and is quite well built / sturdy. My wife and I can almost sit side by side in this bloody thing (it's 'uge).
Better than advertised
Pros: On strix X299-e gaming: 100% memtest86 / aida64 burn / occt / with 4 sticks at 4000-16-16-16-32-1t-280( w/ tight subs) at 1.43v. Serial numbers on two sets were very close - with only minor differences in tertiary subs reported. 4000/15 isn’t stable with 24/7 voltage at 1t - however 2t is fine at 1.53v (if it improves on evga’s X299 dark (best 4 stick memory oc board) will update. On z390 Aorus master (mine is a hateful memory oc’er) 4400 is possible with loosened timings - but cannot ever run 1t with 4 sticks. At 2t - 4000-15 is doable at 1.53v (close to Gskill 4000/15 bin) - doesn’t error under test but there is definitely too much frame dropping in games with spikes in frame time that make it unpleasant. Outperforms a set of Gskill neo 3600-16-16-16-36 on both boards for 20% cheaper.
Cons: Would probably buy the rgb option with the same speeds for a few dollars more. My particular sticks do not really like higher voltage - limits the top end a bit.
Overall Review: Highly recommended - hard to beat for the price.
