Happy that I made the jump from Asus motherboards

GIGABYTE Z370 AORUS Gaming 7 (rev. 1.0) LGA 1151 (300 Series) Intel Z370 HDMI USB 3.1 ATX Intel Motherboard
GIGABYTE Z370 AORUS Gaming 7 (rev. 1.0) LGA 1151 (300 Series) Intel Z370 HDMI USB 3.1 ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: - Great design - Quality parts - LEDs are awesome and integrate with my Phantek case

Cons: -None at this time

Overall Review: I only posted this review because one of the 3 star reviews complained about only 6 SATA ports and no mosfet watercooling. Currently, the highest you can go on Z370 is 8. It was also stated that there was no mosfet watercooling available for this board, this is incorrect. EKWB makes a monoblock for the Z270, which is fully compatible with this board. I have it installed on mine. So, make sure you do your research before buying a motherboard next time. :)

Most Critical Review

Good fans, D-RGB Cable fried and smoked

LIAN LI ST120-3B ,12CM ARGB FANS , BLACK COLOR , 3 FANS PACK WITH FAN CONTROLLER
LIAN LI ST120-3B ,12CM ARGB FANS , BLACK COLOR , 3 FANS PACK WITH FAN CONTROLLER

Pros: Fan's feel solid, pump a good amount of air. Great price considering that Corsair's is 100+ for 3 DRGB Fans

Cons: Plugged the D-RGB into my board, verified it was the 5V header, turned on the computer, and the fans lit up and there was smoke. Turned it off and found that the Ground wire on the D-RGB harness was completely melted. Fan's still work, just no lights. Currently in the process of RMAing the fans for a replacement.

Overall Review: Will update the review after I receive my new fans.

Great CPU

Intel Core i7-3820 - Core i7 3rd Gen Sandy Bridge-E Quad-Core 3.6GHz (3.8GHz Turbo Boost) LGA 2011 130W Desktop Processor - BX80619i73820

Pros: Great upgrade from my 775 CPU. Was waiting for this one for a while. Glad I held out, and went with the X79 chipset instead of the P67/Z68. Cooling this with a Corsair H50, and the temps stay around 40c. Although, I will be changing to a custom water cooling solution at some point.

Cons: None at the time

Overall Review: Bought it in a combo deal with Malwarebytes. People complaining about having to purchase with a combo deal are not seeing all the combo's available. I paid an extra $15 for the combo deal, but I always use Malwarebytes, so it was a win for me

Awesome Monitors!!

ASUS VH236H Black 23" Full HD Widescreen LCD Monitor w/ Speakers 300 cd/m2 20000 :1 (ASCR)
ASUS VH236H Black 23" Full HD Widescreen LCD Monitor w/ Speakers 300 cd/m2 20000 :1 (ASCR)

Pros: Was looking for an NV Surround setup, and came across these monitors. After reading the reviews, and knowing that Asus makes quality products, I bought 3 of these, and have could not be happier. Coming from 1 19" monitor, to 3 23" monitors is amazing. I'm running 3 of these on 3 GTX 480's, and have not had any problems with these monitors at all. No dead pixels, period. For people saying that there is no button to control the volume of the speakers, you need to read the manual. You click the Volume down button, and then can control the volume up or down.

Cons: speakers suck. This really isn't a Con, because I didn't but the monitor for the speakers.

Overall Review: Great monitors if you are looking for a Multi Monitor setup.
