So far so good11/5/2013 6:47:56 PM

Pros: This is perfect for my at-home repair bench for when I have a laptop without a charger or I think it's a bad charger. I've been looking for one like this for a long time as my buddy had one (lasted 3+ years before it finally died) just like this and it was great to borrow. Worked perfectly in an HP I just fixed last week. Pro: Tips feel like they will stay on and not just "fall off" Dial isn't easy to turn so no worries about it changing on it's own.

Cons: None yet

Mine wouldn't support more than 2x hard drives10/11/2011 10:00:57 PM

Pros: Feels nice and heavy, which is usually a good sign. Their support is quick and knowledgeable. I most likely just had a lemon, but I'll never know...worth 3 eggs for what seems like good build parts and great support, but please read my reasons for returning below and decide for yourself!

Cons: Would NOT power my unRAID build I had setup. It would power the hard drives all just fine if I used my CoolMax PSU Tester to turn on the unit, but otherwise connected to the mobo I could only get 2 hard drives before it wouldn't boot right. I had bought this over a Thermaltake mostly because of the rebate and a sale they had, so when I found this unit could not provide the power (guessing as just defective) I returned it to Newegg for a refund and later bought a Corsair which has been great.

Overall Review: This may be a good brand, but my first and last taste of their products didn't leave me happy. I'd be willing to try another unit someday, but for now Corsair has stolen my heart (2x 650W like below and a HX1050 now) unRAID build: Case: LIAN LI PC-Q08B Black Aluminum Mini-ITX Tower Computer Case Power Supply: Corsair CMPSU-650TX 650W 80 PLUS Power Supply Hard Drives: 4x 750Gb Seagate 7200.11 and a 500Gb Seagate 7200.11 (what I had laying around) Motherboard: ZOTAC H55ITX-A-E LGA 1156 Intel H55 HDMI Mini ITX Intel Motherboard CPU: Intel Core i3-540 Clarkdale 3.06GHz LGA 1156 73W Processor BX80616I3540 Memory: G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR3 1333 Model F3-10666CL8D-4GBRM USB Key (for unRAID): Patriot Xporter XT Boost 8GB Flash Drive Model PEF8GUSB

Great for use with a Netbook10/11/2011 9:53:56 PM

Pros: Small and compact plus gets the power from the USB port. Read all burned media I throw at it and has been detected for booting just fine by several Netbook devices.

Cons: None so far, but I haven't used it but maybe 4-5 hours total since I got it.

Overall Review: I had a Rebate with mine and I got my Pre-paid card just as promised! I don't really care for the upright stand, but it works (just a personal thing).

Good simple keyboard10/11/2011 9:50:19 PM

Pros: Nice thin profile. Tactile feedback, but still quite enough to use late at night. Nothing fancy here, but if you just need a GOOD keyboard for work this one will not disappoint.

Cons: None.

Overall Review: I got this to use with my Belkin SOHO KVM on my Computer Repair bench and it's worked great so far.

Nice for Skype, but could be much better for gaming10/11/2011 9:47:21 PM

Pros: Easy to install and get going. Nice on my head and very good at noise canceling (much to my ladies dislike). Has nice audio for talking on Skype and good battery life (not sure if it was 10 hours, but close enough when it finally started to run out). When the power was low and I needed to use it the USB charging cable is plenty long to use and charge.

Cons: It seems that if I use the boom to mute and unmute sometimes when bring it back down it will have the red light on like it should work, but my friends can't hear me so I just raise and lower it again and it's OK. Also when playing video games (Deus Ex lately) I hear pops and cracks a bit, that take away from some of the cinematic, but they aren't really noticed during game play.

Overall Review: After reading a LOT about driver issues I found that installing the newest drivers from Logitech before connecting this headset allowed mine to work flawlessly on my Windows 7 Pro 64-bit machine with stero and the 7.1 stuff. Starting to think that waiting for a sale on the new Creative wireless headset ($199) may have been the better deal, but since I use this mostly (90%) for Skype when playing Co-OP or MMO with my friends this is still a good headset (I wouldn't pay over the $99 I did on sale for this though).

Good while it lasted, but horrible support in the end!10/11/2011 9:06:32 PM

Pros: When it worked it worked just as well as my wireless MS Xbox 360 controller, but that's it...

Cons: I thought the extra button on each side would be nice, but I found myself hitting them by accident a lot and never got any good use out of them. After less than average use my left analog stick started to have issues when I'd go forward. Too far forward would throw me backwards or just jerk me to a stop (and the Calibrate showed the same issue). I contacted Razer support (which I had been hearing back things about over the last few months) and gave them everything they asked for on the contract form (which included the date of purchase), but when they e-mailed me back (within 24 hours was the only plus to this story) they told me I needed to contact the reseller since I didn't buy it directly from them and if the "reseller" didn't help me to provide them a whole list of stuff...look at the date I told you I bought it and do NOT ask me to contact (reseller) since it's past the 30 days! I will NEVER buy anything from this company and will advise everyone I know the same.

Overall Review: I wish I could give this 0 (zero) eggs and I'm VERY sure all the other 1 egg people do as well. Please keep in mind that none of this has been fact I'm gonna go buy a Microsoft 360 controller to use or find a wireless adapter to use one of mine I already know.

Starting off with an annoyed fiance9/27/2011 9:05:21 PM

Pros: Just getting the box from UPS made me smile because of how heavy it was...I find that in general a good speaker set is like a good PSU. The heavier the better! Connections were clearly marked on the back of the sub and I found that well short of the highest volume was enough to get the fiance yelling from the other room. Looking forward to playing Rage with these babies! Would buy again...though I got for just under $100 with a sale.

Cons: Cables area bit short, but then again I guess these are 2.1 so they don't expect you to have that much room between them.

Overall Review: Very nice upgrade from my 6-7 year old Dell 2.1 Speakers (maybe 30W total). They take up a bit more space, but it's well worth it.

First CyberPower ever and liking it!9/11/2011 10:38:55 AM

Pros: I love the 900W rating on this unit as it allows my HP LaserJet to be on the battery side and not overdraw the unit like my old APC 1500 did (only 800W I think). Also the 2 front USB ports work nicely for an iPod or Smartphone to charge.

Cons: None s far

Overall Review: First time I ever looked at anything but an APC, but since APC changed models I haven't heard good things and I don't like the build quality of there 350 and 1000 models that my companies uses so after some research and a sale I went with this CyberPower unit and so far am very impressed (more so than I ever way with APC).

Nice replacement for a failing G79/11/2011 10:32:48 AM

Pros: This is a great mouse for my fingertip style of mousing. I put the performance cover one for the better grip and am playing my games better than I ever did with my old mouse. The change you can make to the scroll wheel (from clicky to smooth) is awesome and works perfectly. Personally I keep my clicky so I can select weapons easier. I was afraid going from wireless to wire I'd get my cord snagged like I use to years ago, but with the covering on this cord it moves slick.

Cons: The DPI buttons are easy to bump, but I did that on my old mouse too so I think it's just me being careless with my fingers.

Overall Review: Got this to replace my failing wireless Logitech G7. I had considered a lot of other mice including the R.A.T. 7/9 and the Razar Mamba 4, but this one got my attention because of all the great reviews and I really don't NEED a wireless mouse, but it was nice.

Room to grow!9/11/2011 10:28:25 AM

Pros: I love the fact the semi-modular part is only the mobo 20+4 , CPU 4+4 and 2x GPU 6+2 cables are hardwired into this unit and the rest of them are module. This allowed me to OC my E8400 back to 3.8Ghz and keep the memory (1.9V stuff as it's a nVidia 790i mobo) in sync and stable. I'm looking forward to upgrading to a GTX 560-580 type of video card and running my older GTX 260 (192 core) as a PhyX...which this unit should be able to power easily!

Cons: I wish that one of the device power cables had both SATA and IDE power connections on it for powering some of my fans. But that's not enough of a complaint to loose an egg.

Overall Review: I got this to replace my old and aging Thermaltake ToughPower 850W (multi 12V rails) since I had already bought 2 other Corsair PSU recently for other devices in my home office.

Works great with Wireless Dell Keybaord/Mouse!10/4/2010 6:10:42 PM

Pros: This unit works great with my USB Wireless Keyboard and Mouse I got from Dell. I just have the receiver in the USB accessory slot and nothing in my keyboard/mouse ports. Still leaves the front open for a USB thumb drive.

Cons: Cables are very back heavy and if near the edge of a desk (like mine) it tips backwards...nothing some tape won't fix though.

Overall Review: Will buy another IOGear product again for sure.

Secure and feels solid10/4/2010 6:07:35 PM

Pros: Fast read/write. Unit feels very solid and the swivel doesn't move out of place on it's own.

Cons: Isn't water proof or milspec. Doesn't work with Linux.

Overall Review: Good bang for the buck and since I didn't need mulspec or water proof to keep my customers data secure between computers it's well worth it.

Good product, just wishin for a USB accessory port10/4/2010 6:04:46 PM

Pros: Just like everyone says the PS2/USB combo works great! So far every OS (Windows 98, 2000, XP, FreeBSD) I have tried on it works along with several different manufactures of computers/motherboards.

Cons: Cables could have been longer. They would be great except for the way I have them ran for the station in my office to work on computers. Rather large and bulky.

Overall Review: I wish this had a USB accessory port in it for my USB thumb drives. Glad this is a powered unit since they seem to always work better!

Great after the Lemon10/4/2010 6:00:39 PM

Pros: Quick warmup and print quality is perfect. Not much more I can say since I knew the specs when bought it and know my HP LaserJets. Great price!

Cons: First one i got was a lemon as it looked to have been damaged before it was even packed in the factory.

Overall Review: Still getting 5-stars because there are always a few lemons and the fact that Newegg was no hassle and paid shipping back to them for the damaged unit was great! Otherwise I had to replace my old APC 650 because it was overdraw when it started to print...

Perfect bang for the buck!9/25/2008 10:18:16 PM

Pros: I picked this over the E8500 (3.16GHz) because I didn't think the extra factory speed was worth the money and I was right! I have this CPU running at 3.6GHz and allowing up to a 1.4V core but it normally runs at around 1.32 and 1.34 Vcore. Stay cool under Prime 95 heat tests around 43C with my Zalmans 9500 and Artic Silver 5.

Cons: None.

Overall Review: I plan to OC this to 3.8 or 4.0 in another few weeks.

Overclocks even further!9/25/2008 10:14:40 PM

Pros: This thing runs great and cool stock OC from EVGA, but I felt like taking it further. Currently I have it running at a 666 Core Clock with a matched 1433 Shader Clock, and a 1108 Memory Clock. I cranked the fan up to 84% since I can hardly hear it anyways.

Cons: None.

Overall Review: I wish I could afford a 2nd one for SLI right now!

Perfect for my MythTV!11/28/2007 6:00:34 PM

Pros: I bought this for use in my MythTV Server and it's working perfect and I it was support by default with MythDora so what else can I ask for. Supports my OS drive on 1 SATA and my 1TB RAID 5 on the other 3 perfect!

Cons: N/A

Overall Review: I will buy another if ever needing more SATA ports than my motherboard supports or just wanting an affordable and good RAID/SATA card!
