Worth the money!
Overall Review: I would say go for XPG by adata, more tbw compared to other brands, great warranty, and the speeds are really close to what they are rated for. Though remember those ratings are usually for a 1tb drive smaller drives will experience slightly slower results. Newegg is also awesome when it comes to customer support!
Decent for what I paid
Pros: great design
Cons: The drivers are pretty low quality and don't be surprised if you start to hear popping from them with certain music.
Overall Review: I would suggest better quality drivers, in fact I replaced the ones in mine and it made a world of difference. Try using better diaphragm material! I am hesitant to even think about buying something like the V380's especially at a point where I am getting ready to upgrade.
Pros: Excellent quality, support for cpu's! Plug and play with windows vista, only had to install the driver disc after bootup, no loss of windows installation.
Cons: This states it supports a max of 1066mhz memory, I have tried 1066 and 1333 and neither would work, I pulled a 1600 from a spare computer and it works fine! This isn't in the support info! I wasted time and money buying the 1066 and 1333 just to have to buy 1600 aka pc-12800!
Overall Review: I am happy with my purchase but hate the fact of wasting time and money for memory that isn't supported! I do feel the factory should tell people that if you install ddr3 1060 and ddr3 1333 you will hear three beeps, no loading of anything that it takes 1600mhz ddr3 to work properly! Save money buy the 1600 and you will have no problems, I will be rma on the last gskill I ordered, but unopened package will prevent 15% restocking fee! I found out the hard way, don't make the same mistake! I am running E8400, evga 430watt power supply, evga geforce gt730, coolermaster seidon 120v all in a former gateway 4640! And as soon as it arrives Team Elite 8GB 240-Pin DDR3 1600 SDRAM! Hope this helps!
