Almost everything about it is good
Pros: I find that the LCD is handy if you use Ventrilo while gaming, lets you see the name of who's talking, who's coming and going from the channel, etc. Also great for looking at your music player info while gaming. I haven't used the G keys too much in game, yet, but I've found them incredibly handy for quick launching applications that I use regularly. USB ports are great to have, too, much more convenient to plug my headset into.
Cons: I'm disappointed in the quality of the media buttons (play, stop, volume, etc.) You have to press on them rather hard and I find that they often squeak when you push them, espectially the "next track" button, very very annoying. -1 star for that.
Overall Review: Overall I'm happy with the purchase, however, I really feel that they need to redesign the media buttons.
Okay, but not great
Pros: Very quiet, especially if using a fan controller and you drop them down to around 800 rpm, and still move enough air to keep ambient temps down. Red LEDs are nice and bright
Cons: Bought 3 of these a month ago. One of the fan motors has started making an odd fast clicking noise. Another of the fans has been very slowly decreasing in peak RPM. At full power, out of the box, all 3 fans held at around 1,050-1,110 RPM, but now this fan often won't get over 1,000 RPM. Not a big deal right now but I worry that it might be an early sign that the fan will die prematurely.
Great TV
Pros: Have had this for about 1 month now and am very happy with it. Arrived with no problems, no dead pixels or anything like that. Picture quality is fantastic. Everything is smooth and I haven't noticed any oddities in the picture during fast action or anything like that. Was easy to setup. It's on the heavy side but I was still able to mount the stand and lift the TV on my own.
Cons: Not the greatest sound quality, but since I don't use the TV's speakers, that doesn't really matter. Worth noting, I don't think I've heard speakers on ANY flat screen TV that I liked. Maybe I'm just too picky about that.
Pros: Does what I need it to - sends clean signal to my speakers.
Cons: None
Clean signal
Pros: Clean signal to the sub, no electrical noise that I can hear.
Cons: None.
Overall Review: Onkyo TX-SR507 receiver to Polk PSW10 subwoofer
Great for the price
Pros: I've been a Polk fan for years and I'm happy to report that even though these are somewhat "low-end" Polk speakers, they still sound fantastic. Very clean and even sound. Mid sounds fantastic and highs are very smooth, clear, and not tinny.
Cons: Bit weak on bass, but that's to be expected with 5.25" drivers, and mating a sub with these will take care of that. I don't like the feet it comes with. They'd be fine on carpet, but would like something a bit more flat/soft for my hardwood floors.
Overall Review: Feeding the speakers 80w each from an Onkyo TX-SR507 receiver.
