Pros: Beautiful design. When updated the firmeware is stable.
Cons: Out of the box, this is an awful product. It worked for the first five minutes, after that it all went downhill. When online and updated the firmware and still no luck. Once I typed the SSID and password manually on both laptops, haven't had any issues since.
Overall Review: I haven't tried DD-WRT. I probably will because I've heard that you can tweak the range. That's something that I am not happy with; the range is the same as my old Netgear router.
Pros: *Battery life!! The rumors are actually true, this thing will last at least 10 hours if using the right settings under battery power mode.
*The screen looks brilliant!. Streaming video from the internet looks really great. The dual video card switching process is a great thing, but it's kind of hard to tell which mode you are in.
*The design is absolutely beautiful, and it's very light, even with the battery attached.
*The keyboard feels and performs really well, very easy to get used to.
*Windows 7 and this laptop go well together.
Cons: -Finger print magnet, (prints actually shine off this thing).
-The track pad works okay, but I prefer a mouse.
-The screen images look washed-out if you look at it from the sides.
-The range of the Wifi card is questionable, I have ordered a new wireless router, will see how it does when I pair them up.
Overall Review: I really looked around before purchasing this laptop, and let me tell you there is nothing better out there for this prize and size. I considered the HP dm3's, DV4, HP Envy, Acer Timeline, and MBP. I am absolutely glad that I chose this machine. For me, battery life and performance were the big items that I was looking for, and in the end, the UL80VT came out on top.
Pros: The drive looks real nice and it was easy to format to NTFS. I haven't used the software that came with it so I can't comment on it. The xfer rate isn't the greatest but it isn't bad either. There wasn't anything to install, just plug and play(I am running Win 7). The price was great. Thank you Newegg.
Cons: It attracts finger prints very easily. You really need a case for it. I don't want to buy one, but I'll probably end up paying for one in the long run.
Overall Review: I really looked at the many different external drives before going with this one, but I decided to go the WD because of their reputation and the excellent price on this item.
Pros: I put the RAM in my Dell Inspiron 9300, rebooted the system and that was it. My computer is running much better now. I received this item very quickly too, and that's something since I am at an FPO address. The price was great also. Thank you Newegg.
Cons: No complains here.
Overall Review: You really have to do your homework when you are buying RAM, make sure that you check with your PC manufacturer to make sure that what you buy will be compatible with your system. You should also go to Crucial.com to see what they recommend.
