Not up to quality of older versions
Pros: - blur free gaming
Cons: - terrible black uniformity - light bleeding around all edges - need to tweak a lot of settings and force ICC color profiles in Windows to get a decent picture
Overall Review: I purchased two of these to go with an older VG248QE that I have been enjoying for the past few years. Sadly both the new monitors suffer from defects that really shine when placed inline with the older superior monitor. Asus quality looks to be going down the crapper and I will never buy another monitor from them again. Feels like I payed $500 for bottom of the barrel quality monitors.
Pros: The fastest single card I have ever used. Better frame rates than my 660ti 3-way sli setup with zero of the sli issues.
Cons: The middle fan on the card sounds terrible. It sounds like one of the bearings is messed up. Nothing like paying $700 for a brand new video card and getting a lemon because of a stupid defective cheap fan. I really wish graphic card companies would use higher quality fans on their heatsinks. The same thing happened with one of my 660 ti cards and after owning it for 6 months the fan stopped working. Pretty upset that I have to RMA the card after one day and having to wait another week to get another one.
Great button placement but terrible product
Pros: Very good button placement. High number of buttons.
Cons: Makes a metallic rattle sound when moved. It sounds like something is loose in side the casing. Extremely distracting and annoying.
Overall Review: Just a total waste of my time and my money. A mouse shouldn't be giving off a distracting noise. I'm glad for RMA refunds.
