Thank You Newegg!2/11/2017 2:44:32 AM

Pros: It's a TV. And it's smart! My son is happy to have his own TV. Newegg. Just great customer service! Bravo!

Cons: People down the street kept the TV. The con is on "me" being the customer and making human error.. mixing up the last 3 Digits of the address sent to the wrong house. Waited a few days to see if guilt would bring the TV back. Didn't happen. Called Newegg, and Police for advice Wasn't in my favor at all. I live out of state from my children.

Overall Review: Newegg Fixed it right away! . People at 29214 Rosewood Flatrock Michigan 48134 got a free tv. I apologize Newegg staff. Again Thank You! Tear'd my eyes up a little.

Good ram1/29/2017 1:32:11 PM

Pros: It's ram. I need it.

Cons: Nada

Overall Review: A person only sees 3 sticks of ddr4. It's because your overclock is unstable. I have mine at 2801 14-16-16-36 2T x99 strap of 105. xmp 2 @2666

Not compatible with CROSSHAIR V FORMULA Z4/2/2016 3:56:22 PM

Pros: It works. Overclocks like crazy got 2400mhz out of it at 1.65v 11-13-13-35 1t

Cons: Made for Intel.

Overall Review: I've owned this set for over a year.I didn't realize until recently I did benchmarks Aida64 extreme.and maxmem test I'm getting half the data transfer than others were getting. Like copy 12,250 MB's read 11,408 MB's write 8052 MB's thats on stock speeds and timings 1866 mhz and 10-11-10-30. from maxmem benchmark. Now look up hyperx fury reviews of this same kit and you'll see something is wrong. All the reviews that use maxmem benchmark are on Intel test benches. I know this is good ddr3 ram. But I didn't do my research. It just does not play well with Asus CVFZ and FX 8350. It's ram though it will work at speeds timings overclocks to 2400mhz with some adjustments. But I'm going to have to take an egg off for the lack of info on this listing as it does not say it's made for the Intel Chipset only. But I didn't get any BSOD's and as far as I could tell it works gaming was good. It's just I seen the data rate benchmarks and I'm only getting half that. It bugs me knowing that. Now. Just some advice if building a rig ram is not ram. Read your motherboard manuals. And research. And you will find which ram suits your needs. Which I did and now going for the G Skill trident x 2400 it's says built for Intel but research shows its good for my CVFZ and FX 8350 also on many different forums. Well thanks for reading and hope this helps.

BEASTS!!! SLI2/26/2015 2:16:13 AM

Pros: These Cards look awesome in my corsair 760t case. They play any game on very high to ultra settings! w/ fx 8350 The lit up MSI Dragon logos looks bad to the bone. Nvidia Drivers work well. Single card solution run very cool. msi after burner. high overclocking capability but don't plan on messing with that. adjustable fans speed and tons more!

Cons: I did't know too much about SLI But both cards get hot hot hot when in sli mode. And now looking into liquid cooling. There goes those sweet looking dradon logos. :(. But thats ok.. I planned on water cooling anyways. I should of paired these with a 4790k!! DUH! and one more thing EXPENSIVE!!!!!! I think I got my money's worth though.

Overall Review: When i said these cards play any game @ very High to Ultra settings These won't let you down. Just one card is good enough for that. OK now I said very high to ultra settings. I know for a fact I'm not getting the performance I paid for because of my cpu. I have a AMD fx 8350. I have always been an AMD guy Not a fanboy if it works it works kind of guy. And this cpu I know is holding the performance back by a ton. So with these cards Its time to go intel and see what they bring to the plate. Or I may hold back and wait for ddr4 to drop a little in price and go the 2011 v3 route with the 5930k. I wish I was told this deciding on which parts to buy That if you"re going to spend $1100 on graphics cards Don't go cheap with the rest. Don't hesitate and buy the msi gtx 980 4g you will not regret it one bit. Just do it right the first time do your research. CPU/ AMD FX 8350 MB/ ASUS M5A99FX Pro 2.0 DDR3/ 32GB HYPER X FURY 1866 (blue and black) HDD/SSD/ Seagate 5tb/ Samsung 850 pro 256 gb X2 GPU/ MSI GTX 980 Gaming 4G X2 PSU/ Raidmax RX-850AE (gold certified) CPU Cooling/ Corsair H100i Case/ Corsair Graphite 760t

False Advertising?1/31/2015 5:46:28 PM

Pros: None that I know of. The card is almost shipped to my house. It will be here monday.

Cons: I read the reviews before I purchased this card most were all raving fans of this card. I've read reviews forums went to the msi website and thought this is THE card to get. But of course my luck will have it this card is falsely advertised. I don't care if it runs good even with the 3.5gb/512mb memory split. 56 of 64 ROPs. 1.75MB of 2MB of L2 cache enabled. Thats not what I paid for. I have not got this card yet. It will be delivered Monday. I have already paid for the shipping label $14.99. and whatever the stocking fee is.. I feel like I got ripped off!!! I love newegg and all but this sucks. They have video reviews and seem to test out their products so I don't know how this one slipped by. as soon as it comes to my door I'm taping the shipping label on it and sending it back.

Overall Review: Once I seen that nvidia admitted the screw up I didn't want to believe it. After doing 2 hours of research and reading the possible problems with the memory split can cause with high resolutions. I'm going to shell out more money for the 980 version. Very dissapointing!

Manufacturer Response:
Dear Valued Customer, This is actually not an issue, as NVIDIA has explained “The GeForce GTX 970 is equipped with 4GB of dedicated graphics memory. However the 970 has a different configuration of SMs than the 980, and fewer crossbar resources to the memory system. To optimally manage memory traffic in this configuration, we segment graphics memory into a 3.5GB section and a 0.5GB section. The GPU has higher priority access to the 3.5GB section. When a game needs less than 3.5GB of video memory per draw command then it will only access the first partition, and 3rd party applications that measure memory usage will report 3.5GB of memory in use on GTX 970, but may report more for GTX 980 if there is more memory used by other commands. When a game requires more than 3.5GB of memory then we use both segments.
