Overall Review: Follow the specs that Anonymous has and you can play 4K Movies. I can play them now with this drive. I do recommend this drive as it works awesome for me.

Cons: Well right from the start it wanted to format my drives. I canceled and restarted and it read all of my drives, trying to get into one to use it, the icon kept turning and turning and could never really get into one. Two of my drives finally failed and one of them had stuff I really needed. So I put that drive back into my computer and my computer no longer read it. Couldn't find the drive. So under disk management I saw it but Had to format it to use it. Bam!!!! Went my stuff. I formatted it and then put it back in the dock and it read it and I formatted it again with it in the dock, still couldn't access it. Now drive number 2 won't work at all now saying drive is corrupted. Can't get it to do anything. The thing is, that before both drives worked. You buy something brand new you expect it to work. Tech support can say all day long that this is not normal and it is covered by their warranty, it doesn't change the fact that I lost some important stuff. Some of it was backed up on a DVD, but not all of it. And doesn't changed the fact that two of my drives don't work now. Now I have to buy two more drives now. I guess people who it works for should feel lucky!

Overall Review: I am not going to say not to buy it. Make your own mind up. I won't by another one, and probably gonna RMA this one since I cannot get it to work at all.

Pros: So it does do what it is supposed to do at this point. I hate to jinx it but, it working awesome now.

Overall Review: So as a bonus feature, when I ordered it did not know it would work like this which is good. I know there was an on/off button for each drive. Wasn't too keen on that before I ordered it. Now that all my drives are in their slots (4 drives), I am able to turn off the ones I don't need at that moment. When they were in the computer, they always ran. I have in the past lost drives for varies reasons, none of which I am aware of, they just stopped working, Now they don't run as much so should save the life of the drive.I can have my computer on, and if I don't need to use the drives, keep them off. One drive ran very hot, so I need to get a fan I guess and have the fan blow on it when it's on. So to summon up, I like it at the present time. It is exactly what I needed.

Pros: Works really well, so well I ordered another one for a different room.

Cons: Not free! Would have given it Ten stars if it was free.

Overall Review: Lifetime warranty is always good.

Pros: I agree with others. If you have an ssd, you don't need it. My ssd seems to be quicker without than with. This is the plus side what I just said.

Cons: The software Intel provides separately, and the instructions they have on how to install it on a usb drive before you load Windows 10, is very confusing. The first file I needed to extract they didn't say where to find it. The rest they did. I guess I am also not smart enough to follow those directions. Maybe Intel can send what is needed through an update from Microsoft to fix the problem. Put the files needed in an update. Maybe through their updates through Intel Driver Updates.

Overall Review: The software said bios unsupported and ASRock also was very vague about how to install. Without the Optane Memory my computer is doing so much better. Buy it if you want, or don't buy it if you want. Not everyone will have the same experience...Or....maybe.... close experience, to same experience.

I don't know why people are saying that they have never received their item. I am here to tell you that I received mine in the time frame allowed. I got mine.
