Works great!
Pros: It works! Installed in January, and nearly a year later, it's just chugging right along, 24/7! (Connecting a SATA drive to an IDE MoBo) I've been using these in several other machines at work and so far, batting 1.000! There is a noticeable speed increase of at least 150% to 200% when using SSD's. (No more seek time to speak of!)
Cons: So far, none! (a year counting.)
Overall Review: I bought this so that I could use a SSD drive in a legacy IDE machine. It's been running 24/7 for nearly a year, playing music. No glitches, no hiccups! MUCH faster than the system it replaced! This adapter also serves in a very BUSY machine at work, 24/7. So far, no issues at all!
WAS an excellent drive...
Pros: Can't beat it for only $45! (On sale.) I just upgraded my HP Laptop from a spinning disk to this new SSD. The speed increase is quite dramatic! It will be nice having longer battery life, too. I just ordered 2 more, so I can upgrade my wife's laptop, and have a spare.
Cons: UPDATE: After about 3 years of reliable 24/7 service, it suddenly dropped dead. NO WARNING, just a reboot, and lock in the BIOS screen "No HDD found". Nothing could gain access, I tried several different computers and USB/SATA adapters. The drive is a paperweight. (Rating changed from 5 to 2 eggs.)
Overall Review: I originally bought this drive with an IDE adapter, to use in a "legacy" machine. Turns out that IDE adapter has issues. I'm glad it didn't foul up the drive. After some wrangling, I finally got it to reformat, and now it works beautifully in my HP Laptop. HP uses an odd dual partition system, but the AOMEI Backupper software worked. I plugged this drive into a USB adapter, installed AOMEI on the WIN7 machine, and made the backup to a LAN drive. Then restored it from the LAN drive, swapped HD's and it booted... in seconds! Ya gotta LOVE SSD's! :)
Works great!
Pros: It's an optical USB mouse, and it works well.
Overall Review: I wasn't expecting a "Cadillac", just a decent mouse at a good price, this this unit delivers.
Very handy and useful!
Pros: Although it's all plastic, it seems strong enough to last a while, but I wouldn't want to be swapping drives several times a day, every day... I fear that it could wear out or break with such steady use.
Overall Review: As of this writing, I've been using this for over a year, and it's very helpful! I can easily swap 2.5" SATA drives from the front of the PC. This makes making backups so easy, there's no excuse NOT to make them regularly! :) It's also extremely useful for restoring a cloned/saved OS install onto a new drive. (One of the main reasons I bought it.) I'll never want a PC without one of these, again. :)
A very nice desktop PC drive
Pros: Couldn't be happier. It reads and burns CD's and DVD's quite well. Works perfectly in Linux or Windows.
Cons: Can't think of any.
Decent little speakers.
Pros: For small speakers, the sound is reasonable. Nice companions to a laptop or small workstation setup where "critical listening" is not the goal. The magnets in the base hold them together into a sort of "sound bar".
Cons: Can't think of any.
