Good Cable, Great Price.
Pros: No annoying adapters. Screw down DVI side connector. Low Profile. Sound over DVI-HDMI worked well. Plenty of length (10').
Cons: None that I can tell.
Overall Review: I used to use a DVI-HDMI adapter and a HDMI cable, which was bulky and cumbersome. I bought two of these cables and they work great. My laptop has sound over DVI support, and that works well too.
Easy upgrade w/Samsung Migration
Pros: Drive seems to work great, and sixty-four dollars was a smoking good deal. Thanks NewEgg. Installation was easy to upgrade from full 64GB SSD with the Samsung Data Migration software
Cons: N/A
Overall Review: I'll update review if i have any problems...
ChromeBox = Awesome
Pros: Small, Fast, and Simple. -Includes VESA mount -Good looking -Feels solid -Lots of USB ports with good specs on using for charging -Low Price -Factory Reset is ridiculously fast -Netflix works perfectly
Cons: -Limited availability at the moment! Hoping that changes as I'd like to buy more of these.
Overall Review: I bought this one for my mother who didn't need a full blown PC. She thought it was pretty slick and was up and running in 5 minutes. I am considering buying at least one more of these for a HTPC but am holding out to see if I can get a keyboard/mouse bundle later...
So far so good.
Pros: Nice remote Simple Interface Good Looking (not great) Quick shut off
Cons: The sound is good, not great. Large footprint
Overall Review: I'm using with a current gen iPod Nano and I was amazed how quickly everything just started working and the responsiveness of the remote and volume dial. I really like that you just tap the volume jog dial and it turns on or off. At 25 bucks, this thing is amazing. 5 eggs for low cost and decent sound.
Instant goodness
Pros: Worked instantly, no setup needed. Start to finish setup for 4 outlets was about 5 minutes after running one extension cord. Speed = 50mbit
Cons: My only complaint, and it doesn't seem to be the products fault, is that you need to plug direct into a non-gfci or surge protected outlet.
Overall Review: My previous wireless was pulling about 3mbit in the farthest room. Now it's 50. awesome.
Great Value
Pros: Good sound output. Automatic Leveling (MACC) Robust input/output options. Post speaker wire terminals. Pandora. OSD for network settings and pandora. HDMI switching has been reliable.
Cons: The On Screen Displays are completely lack-luster. They look archaic,. The Pandora screen seems to be missing a skip button (unless it's user error). Switching from one HDMI source to my PC takes about 7 seconds end to end, but i'm not sure if some of that is the PC. When using Pandora, you cannot select another video source (I.E. a computer). The Pandora audio quality does not seem to match the Pandora One PC app (somewhat expected)
Overall Review: I have not tried the iPod Control. I had to upgrade the firmware via USB stick and found that the only stick it would recognize was an older 1GB with FAT filesystem (instead of newer 32GB stick). I'm giving this receiver 5 stars because it's earned it at this price (on sale for 249) even with a few shortcomings. PIONEER, if you are paying attention, put a nice looking and fully featured on screen interface on your receivers and I'll gladly pay more! I'd love to see all the options there. Frankly, the current OSD is terrible looking, only contains a small subset of features. There is a lot of room for improvement.
