Mac Leopard can't partition it

Fantom G-Force MegaDisk MDE1000 1TB USB 2.0 / eSATA 2 Disk RAID Array

Pros: Nice heavy-duty metal construction. Silent cooling fan. Matches a Mac Desktop's case.

Cons: Comes pre-formatted FAT32 for a PC. Mac Leopard (OSX 10.5) can NOT partition it: always a "device busy" message, even if you boot from the installation DVD. The solution is to boot from a Tiger DVD, then run Disk Utility, or partition the drive on a Mac running Tiger (OSX 10.4), then you can partition it as Mac Journaled. I left the RAID as zero (FAST setting on the drive enclosure).

Nice lock, better than carrying keys

Ultraloq UL3 BT Bluetooth Enabled Fingerprint and Touchscreen Smart Lock (Satin Nickel)

Pros: Bluetooth connectivity.

Cons: Fingerprint reader rarely works when cold outside.
